How did you celebrate your first anniversary?
DH sent me roses at work with an AMAZING card (still have it up in my office). Then we went to dinner at our favorite Italian Restaurant.
How do you celebrate your last anniversary?
We got lazy. We picked up Italian food, a small red velvet cake, and a box of wine and celebrated at home.
Do you and your partner usually give each other anniversary gifts?
We did in the beginning but now we go in together for a gift. The weekend after our anniversary we bought a brand new dishwasher and claimed it as our anniversary gift to each other.
Any special anniversary traditions?
We always add sand layers to our Sand Ceremony Vase. The morning after our wedding we combines both the colors are put a line at the top of where we stopped pouring during the wedding ceremony. It symbolized the day we became one. So now every anniversary we add another set of lines.

How did you celebrate your first anniversary? A party at my in-law's house. We got married on DH's birthday, so it was more for that, but with a specially made anniversary cake.

When is your wedding anniversary? July 2
How many years married and/or together? DH first asked me to be his girlfriend 12 years ago tomorrow (August 2!). We dated for 5 years before getting engaged and were engaged almost 2 years before getting married. We just celebrated our 5th anniversary.
How did you celebrate your first anniversary? We bought a house. lol (Actually we signed the contract to BUILD our house)
How do you celebrate your last anniversary? We went out to our yearly anniversary dinner, and on our actual anniversary we were at a friend's wedding.
Do you and your partner usually give each other anniversary gifts? Not usually, but he got me a ruby bracelet this year (my birthstone)!
Any special anniversary traditions? We always go out to dinner at the restaurant where we got engaged at and had our rehearsal dinner at. It's become a very yummy tradition. That restaurant isn't allowed to ever go out of business! (It's a local place, not a chain.)

How many years married and/or together?
Known each other for 17 years (hated each other when we met though), Friends for 15, a couple for 14, married for 8.
How did you celebrate your first anniversary?
We stayed up late the night before to watch the fireworks from our apartment balcony. The fireworks go on until around 1am so we always celebrate the turning of the day from the 4th to the 5th
How do you celebrate your last anniversary?
There was a burn ban this year for the entire county- the first we didn't watch the fireworks. DH took me out to a fancy dinner- had roses waiting on the table, a glass of champagne with the chocolate fondue dessert. He went all out for the night because I had to give 17 vials of blood that morning to do the RPL.
Do you and your partner usually give eachother anniversary gifts?
We tried the first year. Bought a piece of our wedding china as a gift to ourselves. But that was kinda awkward. Especially since my birthday is the week before. His birthday is a week after Christmas. We've worked out a system- he gets a big birthday and big christmas and it's gift-palooza once a year. He loves it. He splits my christmas budget with valentines and a big birthday and I get smaller gifts a couple of times a year- just the way I like it. And we ignore our anniversary.
Any special anniversary traditions?
We watch the 4th of July fireworks as the clock ticks over to our anniversary.Friends for 15 years. Married 8. TTC since January 2009

How many years married and/or together? We just got married last year... so 15 months. We've been together 4 years.
How did you celebrate your first anniversary? Our wedding was at a nice restaurant with a banquet hall, so we had dinner at the restaurant. When we told our waiter we got married there a year earlier we got free champagne
How do you celebrate your last anniversary? We've only had one.
Do you and your partner usually give eachother anniversary gifts? We gave each other nice gifts this year since it was our first, but agreed that we will only exchange little gifts most years.
Any special anniversary traditions? We plan to return to the same restaurant each year, as long as it's open. But if my FET works I'll be due the week of our anniversary so I'm hoping we can't make it next year.

After 1 IUI, 3 IVF's with CGH/CCS testing, 10 early miscarriages, and lots of tears and frustration, we are moving on to Domestic Infant Adoption! We are so excited to see what the future holds.

How did you celebrate your first anniversary? We got 2 free nights at the new JW Marriott from a friend. We are staying there because we took a trip in May already.
How do you celebrate your last anniversary? Nothing special, we were in the middle of an IVF cycle.
Do you and your partner usually give eachother anniversary gifts? Not all the time, especially if we go on a trip. At the very least, we give each other cards.
Any special anniversary traditions? Nope, until we got on this IF roller coaster, we used to take a great vacation trip to celebrate. We've been to Cabo, St. Kitts, and a cruise - now, we will paying for yet another IVF...
