Hi, all!
I'm having an August baby, but I'm also team green and I'm getting SOOO excited to find out the gender! It seems like I can't wait any longer! I've been doing my daily walks at the mall because it's so hot and it's SO HARD to see all the cute baby boy and girl clothes!
Anyway, enough whining... On to my ACTUAL questions.
1) Did you have a "hunch" as to what you were having? (Mother's intuition!) How sure were you and were you right? (I'm 90% sure that I'm having a boy BUT...)
2) Did strangers and friends used to tell you what you were having? Were the majority of them right? (I've had strangers and store clerks come up to me and say "you're having a boy" pretty frequently. I'm totally carrying all baby in the front, but I also have GD so my weight gain has only been about 20 pounds, so that could complicate things...)
I know that none of this is SURE, but I'm just wondering at this point... I'm getting so anxious! Congrats to all of you who've had your babies and WELCOME to those who are "new" to Club August! I saw a few of your posts today.

Re: Question for July "Team Greeners"...
I have a boy...
1. I don't know if there was really a hunch. Early on I thought I was having a girl... then I thought, I'd better not get too attached to the idea of a girl so I started convincing myself it was a boy... then I just got all confused, lol. In the last few months I found myself consistently referring to LO as "he" though.
2. Everybody said I was having a boy because my belly was sticking straight out.
House / Baby blog
I was fairly certain I was having a girl and I did. I'd say that about half of my family/friends thought I was having a boy based on how I carried and half thought I was having a girl based on how I carried. Basically, it was a crap shoot.
I know it's hard, but you will find out your baby's sex soon enough! That moment when they put him/her on your chest and announce "It's a boy!" or "It's a girl!" is the best moment ever. Enjoy it!
I was like 90% sure he was a boy. I had 2 dreams early in the pregnancy that LO was a boy, and after that I would waver once in a while but I was always pretty sure he was a he.
Strangers, family, friends ALL told me they thought it was a boy. I had strangers come up to me in the store and tell me "Oh that's definitely a boy in there!" I guess the whole thing about "carrying all in front" was true for me, because I did and he was a boy.
I thought my DD was going to be a boy. But, I told myself that b/c I was so convinced the baby was a boy, that I knew she would be a girl. (I really hope that makes sense!)
Almost everyone told me that it was going to be a boy, only a couple of people were sure that she was a girl.
For the majority of the pregnancy I thought boy and so did everyone else. There were literally only 2 or 3 that thought girl.
It wasn't until I was in labor with a stalled induction when I realized I had a stubborn baby and it had to be a girl! She is stubborn like her momma and big sister!
I was convinced I was having a boy, so was everyone else b/c of the OWT. I carried all out front, nice and round. I gained weight only in my belly. I had strangers tell me that I shocked them when I turned to the side and they saw I was pregnant b/c I didn't look pregnant from the back.
And I had a girl! The MW announced It's a girl! And I replied, "What?!?" Haha. I REALLY thought she was a boy. We even bought all boy clothes, toys, gear, etc. (just nothing that SAID boy on it just in case!). So our little girl is wearing clothes with dinosaurs and puppies, haha.
You really never know.
