Sneaky sneaky baby...

There have always been certain foods that trick our little girl to move and get her to kick and act up so this weekend I spent the weekend with my family and I was hoping she would do her usual kicks and moves she does for DH and me so I can show my family their future grand baby. So this weekend comes and guess what? Zip, nothin, nada, nope, zero. Couldn't get her to budge. Then Sunday evening I come home, sit down and the party begins in my belly. Really baby? Making a fool out of me already? Here I am telling everyone how much she moves and when its show time shes MIA.

    Mine too!  My inlaws were visiting this weekend, and he hardly moved at all.  But both before they arrived and right after they left, moving like crazy.  Guess he's shy.

    This happens to my husband a lot when he is trying to feel baby move. I feel him move all day long and then when my H goes to feel it...nothing. He gets frustrated and impatient having to sit and wait with his hand on my belly. Every once in a while, he will sit still long enough to feel the baby move but it doesn't happen often. Stubborn baby!

    This happens to me all the time. Anytime anyone tries to feel her she wont move for anything not even caffeine lol. But as soon as I'm alone she's having a party. We decided she's playing hide and seek :) Even my BF has only felt her a handful of times.

    They pull these same fakeroo stunts after birth too!  Wait until LO is born and gets sick.  At home they will be lethargic, weepy, and feverish.  You rush them in to see the doctor and they start dancing, babbling up a storm, with no fever to speak of!  The doctor is looking at you sideways like you're a Nervous Nelly mother.  And you're like, "I SWEAR they were sick and burning up with fever!!!"  My kids have done this to me on more than several occasions. Sad

    Haha, mine is the same way.  She was moving around all day today and then I go in for an u/s and she hardly moved at all.  Guess she was tired out.  But the tech did catch a picture of her hands over her eyes, so she must not like having her picture taken.  I think it's cute!

    LOL!!!  This happens to my husband, too!  I am a jungle gym until I get him to put his hand on my belly.  She either stops or will just lightly kick to the point that I can feel it, but he can't.  Funny thing is that we have a pug that messes with him, too.  The pug will follow him and bark and is so fascinated at everything he does.  But, when he goes to pet him, he runs back over to me and starts barking at him again.  It's a game.  So, now my husband is convinced our daughter is going to follow him around the house like the pug and run when he turns around.  Stick out tongue

    It read a shirt the other day that said"if that is my family then I'm not coming out!"  Hmm maybe appropriate.

    DH STILL has not felt LO for this reason. Every time he tries to feel him LO simply stops moving. Or LO decides to move when DH is playing COD and there is no prying his hands off of a controller w/o threats of death lol. Another approach I have tried is video taping my belly with my phone once LO starts to move since now with the more powerful kicks he moves my whole belly. The SECOND I pull out my phone during the middle of his kicks he stops. It's quite clear the only person he wants to know what he's doing is me lol
