Rec Your Stroller Please

I want to get a new stroller.  I currently have a Graco Snap-N-Go and I would like to get a stroller for my LO to face out when she gets a little bigger.  I'm not looking for anything too expensive but I would like something nice.  Any recommendations?

Also, how big was your LO when you stopped using their infant seat in your stroller?

  • Bumbleride Indie! Lightweight, all-terrain, compact (for a full-size stroller), and can be used for light jogging. Also I think it looks great and my daughter loves it.

  • I 2nd the City Mini!  I love mine.  I have the car seat adapter which is great for when we have to run in multiple stores or go to the mall.  But for walks, I take that off & she just sits in the main part.  It is light, folds quick and easy, and steers great.

  • We have a Graco stroller that came with our travel system (pattern name "Ben") that we use a lot. We keep it in my husband's truck since it barely fits in the trunk of my car. I have a teeny hatchback that I'm stuck with for about two more years.

We have an Aprica Presto that we keep in my car. It folds up so small. I can actually fit the groceries in the trunk now and I could put the deck lid back in place (I had to take it out so the graco stroller would fit). DS loves it. It seems to keep him cooler and his back doesn't get all sweaty like it does in the Graco.

To answer your other question, we've been putting DS in the regular stroller for a few months. We kept it in the fully reclined position before he could sit up. He's still working on sitting up, so we'll let him sit upright until he gets slouchy and then I'll recline him again. If he's reclined, he'll just lay there and chew on his feet if he's not sleeping. Usually the stroller = instant nap.

  • We have the UppaBaby VISTA and I love it.  DS is only 2 months so I have only used the bassinet so far (where he also sleeps!) but I can't wait to get out the toddler seat as well.  It fully reclines and can face forward or backwards.

  • We love our City Mini too!  The fold is amazing and it is easy to manuver.
  • I love my bob stroller.
