Breast Pain?

I've been getting some pains in my right breast for a couple of weeks now immediately after I feed N on that side.  It lasts for maybe an hour or so and occasionally twinges after that.  Any idea what this might be?  I don't feel any clogged ducts.  And I don't have a fever so I'm thinking its not mastitis.  Not sure about thrush.

    Not sure...have u tried looking it up on kellymom.com

    they provide BFng support and research.

    For me...my nipples are irritated and pink. The LC at the hospital said that i dont have thrush. she said that those times when i had an inproper latch or pulled the nipple from my LOs mouth without releasing the pressure first with my finger...actually caused some trauma for my nipples.

    she gave me gel dressing aka "hydrogel wound dressings" to use inbetween feedings. It's amazing how much better theyve gotten!! my LO is two weeks old and ive finally learned some ways to prevent me from causing unneccessary trauma.
