Update from Melissa - baby Allie
"Hi girls...I know I ask for your prayers a lot but we could really really use them right now. Allie has developed NEC which is pretty much an infection of her bowels/intestines. She's pretty sick right now and poor baby is being poked and prodded for tests. She's back on the ventilator with more tubes and wires and its breaking my heart to see her struggling. She needs to fight through this and I know she could use any good thoughts or prayers you can send her way. Thanks So much ladies"

This news was pointed out to the PGAL board, so I am over here lurking. I wanted to let you know that you and your sweet baby Allie are in my thoughts and prayers...a lot of the PGALers are prayer for her! I hope she pulls through this very trying time and is soon on the road to a nice recovery.

Oh my goodness.
I am sorry to hear that Allie is having such a hard time. She & her family are in my heart, my prayers & my thoughts during this difficult time. I sincerely hope that she rallies, beats the infection & makes a full recovery. Poor little baby.
Stay strong mama! If you need to cry-- let it out and gear up for the next round. You are doing a great job being supportive of your little girl. I know you must feel powerless on the sidelines, but you are doing the best a mother can do which is love love love. Keep it up!

I'm so sorry to hear of Allie's infection. I hope she says strong and is able to get off the ventilator soon! Lots of hugs and prayers for you both!
