U/S 19May - one bean measuring on track with a HB of 125! EDD: 07Jan2019 Team Green My Rainbow Baby Boy born 03Jan2019
We didn't do this for our families, but did this for our Facebook post...
We took a picture of ourselves, then Photoshopped it to add a call-out that reads "'I'm in the picture too!' ~Baby V" with the call-out pointing to my tummy as if the baby was talking
DH and I took a picture one day. We got a bag of buns from the grocery store and put one on a tray in the oven. We opened the oven up and kneeled down next to it with big smiles. We had a friend take a picture of us with "a bun in the oven". It turned out really cute and we sent it off. It also later became our facebook photos. What was really cute was that both of our dogs were very interested in what we were doing and in the bun in the oven! The picture had their heads in it staring at the bun. We'll never forget that.
For our parents, we invited them all over and made spaghetti with Prego sauce. We also made sure the salad had baby carrots in it and we kept talking about those two things. They finally got the hint but had to see the pregnancy test to be sure they could trust us practical jokers!
) Have fun! Congrats!

Our original plan was to video chat our folks with our daughter wearing a "Big Sister to Bee" shirt. The other thought was e-mailing the first ultrasound pic.
Re: Creative ways to tell families we are pregnant through email or phone?
My DH is a software engineer so we sent out an announcement with information like companies do for next generation software. You know like Windows 7.
It read something like
Coming soon release date November 2 "family name" 5.0 (for our fifth child).
All his buddies at work and tech savvy friends got it right off. We had to explain to my parents generation.
*TW loss and children mentioned*
