do i have to pump?

I have a 9 week old baby.if i dont nurse her one day for like 6-7 hours is it really necessary to pump? as far as my supply is concermed? it is just this one day....will it affect my supply?

    Probably not, but you can expect to be in a lot of pain by the time you get back home.

    You don't have to, but you'll want to. If you have a normal supply, your LO probably won't be able to nurse enough to relieve the pressure. I guess it'll go away on it's own, eventually, but I'd be too scared of getting a clogged duct to find out.

    This! Plus you might just start leaking. I know I do if I go to long with out nursing or pumping. I have soaked through shirts in no time! Lol.

    It should be fine though you might notice a dip in your supply the next day.   However it will probably be painful.   I went back to school when DS was 5 months old and the first few days where I had to wait 4 hours in between were extremely painful.
