How much to charge for babysitting?

I have a friend who might start watching an infant a few days a week as part-time daycare.  She asked me what she should charge and I really don't know (I pay someone who watches multiple kids $95 per week which is on the super cheap side of things).  Is $10 per hour reasonable?  We are in the southern 'burbs.

    I pay $10/hour for a licensed in home daycare and she provides lunch and snack once the kid is over the age of 1.

    I pay my babysitter $12/hour and she comes to my house for 20 hours a week.

    That sounds reasonable to me. We haven't used a sitter (outside of family) very much in the last year or so, so I may be out of the loop.

    We are intown and pay ours $12 / hour.
