(I don't know if one of these has been done recently.)
I'm Katie. I'm 24 (25 in Dec) and my DH is 28. We live near Seattle. We have been ttc for almost 3 years. I don't post often because we are on a break. Trying to decide if when we should do IVF and paying off debt in the mean time.
I like to sew and cook, sunshine, coffee and red wine.
Re: Get to know you post (lurkers respond too!)
I'm Jamie. I'm 27 (28 in Sept) and DH is 28. We currently live in St Louis. We found about my H's MFI in Oct 2010 and started trying in Jan 2011 when I got the okay to stop BC pills. We were given a less than 5% chance of concieving on our own. Currently H is taking vitamins to see if it will help and we are saving for IVF. Hoping to cycle early next spring.
I love to bake, sew and scrapbook. I also like to make handmade invitations and cards. Random fact about H and I...we met at a bowling alley.
I'll play.
I'm B. I'm 31 and DH is 34. We live outside of Toronto in the burbs. We celebrated our three year anniversary and will have been TTC for three years in October. We are waiting for my lap in August, then we'll do one natural cycle (maybe an IUI) and then IVF in October. I don't know how we got here, but I just want this to be over. I post often, very often, because I'm bored at my job and obsessed with everything IF related.
I love to run, golf, yoga, throw dinner parties, read books (especially on my kindle) and like Married071709 I enjoy a glass of wine...or two. DH travels A LOT so I am home by myself frequently and spend a lot of time with my girlfriends. Right now my sister, SIL, and best-friend are all KU so it's an interesting time.

I'm B. I'm 26 (27in May) and my DH is 25. We live in Colorado. My DH has been on chemo now for 3 years off and on tried to conceive before he started we had a MC and now no luck on our first IUI. DH is in the oilfield so works tons of hours leaving me at home with out 3 dogs to hang out.
I like to ride horse, 4-wheel, camp, scrapbook, and decorate everything in primitive country.
I'm Bekah! DH and I are both 31 (He's 6 months older). We live in Houston and have been trying to conceive since February 2009- so right at 2.5 years. I have an alarming tendency to post huge replies and sometimes post in the middle of the night when insomnia hits.
My infertility history is summed up in my signature- we're doing FET#2 in August/September (assuming my period cooperates).
I'm learning the cello, I love to paint (abstract acrylics- the kind you hang on the wall), and I'm a SAHW who was supposed to have been a SAHM years ago.
We have two cats, a house in the 'burbs, and love to do road trips!

Hi,
I am B. I am 29 (nearly 30...in October) and my DH is 30. We have been trying since 2/10 (approximately). After some unusual testing for DH, we were told we'd be forced to do IVF, but we have been fortunate to get very different numbers the last few tests so we can try IUI. I am in my second month of IUI and clomid.
I love to play with my dogs, watch movies, eat ice cream, and drink iced coffee.

Hi, I'm Mrkyrain. I turned 39 in April and DH is 38. I am six months older than him. We have been married for two years and TTC for most of that time. After 3 Clomid cycles, three IUI with Injections, we will be starting our second IVF cycle in a few days.
I like to read, play games, travel, and bake. I have also been known to watch some trashy TV on occasion. ;-)
Hi, I'm Renee 36 and DH is 38. We live in California, in a suburb of the SF Bay Area. The city we live in is the wine country of the East Bay.
I got pregnant naturally with twins in 2006, and that's when my problems started. I lost them both and almost bled to death in the process. I required 2 blood transfusions of 52 untils of blood products. Blood, plasma and platelets. I also have a pretty rare blood type. It was a very long recovery and put our ttc plans on hold for a year. I found out I had a bunch of problems. I got off the pill in Aug. 2007 and had no idea all my problems would lead down on this road. 3 IVFs and 1 FET later I have a new RE and am feeling hopeful again. I am hoping we can cycle soon!
I love to cook, grill and bake! I'm not creative in an artistic sense, I can't paint, draw, etc, but my creativity comes out in my food! It really does make me happy! My dogs also make me very happy. I love coffee, the band KISS, street fairs, sangria and being social. This last year I was in hiding mode, so I tend to come to the boards a lot!
2/06 - surprise pregnancy - twins
3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks
5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.

I'm Madelyn. I'm 25 (I'll be 26 in October), DH is significantly older. We've been TTC since June 2008 so over three years now. We've been with our RE since June 2009 and have done a few medicated TI cycles, 4 IUIs (one of which resulted in a c/p) and one round of IVF. We haven't done a cycle since our failed IVF cycle in January and it is unlikely that we will cycle again.
We live in Auburn, AL and we both work at the university (I work in admissons, DH is a coach).
I love my dogs, red wine and martinis, shopping, sleeping and hot weather.
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs

I'm Heather and am 33 (will be 34 in a couple of weeks). My husband is 35 and will be 36 in a few weeks. I grew up in Massachusetts and just moved to Florida about a year ago. We've been married for a little over 3 years and have been TTC since April 2010. We were diagnosed with azoo and have been told ICSI/IVF is our only option. I'm supposed to be starting IVF #1, but my RE's office can't figure out how to return calls, so I'm on the search for another RE.
I love decorating, doing "crafty things", spending time with my husband and I love red wine too

Hi Madelyn.... Just saw where you posted & that you were from AU... Just wanted to give you a WDE!
I'm S. I live in Ohio, and I'm 31 and DH is 32. I threw away the BCP in October 2009. I'm in the 2ww of my 1st injectables cycle and my last IUI -- we'll move on to IVF if this cycle is unsuccessful.
We bought a big old house (built in the 1850s) that we're redoing -- that takes up a ton of my time/thoughts. We also have 2 Golden Retrievers, a swimming pond that I spend every weekend floating in, and a huge garden.
Mild MFI, irregular cycles, HSG only showed left tube open
IUIs #1-3: Femara -- BFN
IUI #4: Follistim + HCG boosters -- BFN
Sept./Oct. 2011 IVF#1: Long Lupron, 3dt of 2 -- BFN + 1 frostie
Surprise BFP 11.21.2011: missed m/c at 9w2d, D&C 12.27.2011

Hi! I'm Amanda (28) and Dh is 30. We have been married 7 years next month. We live in Alabama. We have been TTC for 2.5 years.
Our dx is MFI and poor egg quality. We have been through 5 IUI's and 2 IVF's. We plan on doing a few more IUI's w/ donor sperm and then probably moving to adoption.
I like to scrapbook but haven't done it in a really long time. I wish I was more handy around the house b/c I have a really long to do list, but don't know how to do any of it. DH and I are going to NYC in September. I love thunderstorms.
Forever our's October 17th 2012
::lurker coming out::
I'm Kdg. I'm 26 and MH just turned 30 about 2 weeks ago. We live in St. Louis. We've been TTC since March 2010. We started seeing an RE in June and I'm scheduled to have a hysteroscopy (sp?) on Aug 11th to remove some tissue. After that I think our game plan is Clomid + trigger+ TI. We just got back from Napa Valley and San Fran where we celebrated our 2 year anniversary.
I love reading (I'm a teacher-it's a job requirement
), having a glass (or three) or wine, and spending time with friends. I also shop like it's my job!
Hi!
WDE!
We need more Auburn fans around the boards..too many bammers..;)

Hi, I am Nicole and I am 23, my husband and I have been married for two, going on three years. My husband and I live in mid-Michigan, but we are about to make a move to San Antonio in a couple of weeks. We've been TTC for two years, but have yet to see a RE.
I like yoga, reading and taking my puppy, Cordy, to the park.
Ive also been lurking a few months
Hi!! My name is Danielle. I am from Michigan. I am 26 years old, soon to be 27 and DH is 33. We are starting out first IVF cycle in September. I have PCOS and very rarily have periods. So basically no ovulationg for me. DH has never been tested so we are assuming all is well with him.
I look forward to chatting and going through this process with everyone
I love to bake, play sports and go bowling.
I am Christine and I am 27 (almost 28) and my husband (Sean) is 26. We have been married almost 2 years. October 2009 we stopped birth control and did a few months of NNT. January 2010 we officially started. October 2010 we went to the RE to get tested and found out that there is nothing wrong. We have unexplained IF and DH sperm is low-average ranges. We have completed 3 IUIs, 1 IVF, and 1 FET all with BFN. We are waiting until next cycle to try a second IVF.
I love to read and I am English teacher. Growing up I was a dancer and big into theatre. I don't get to dance as much anymore (especially with IF taking any extra money), but I try to take a class now and then.

Hey guys! I'm J! I'm 31 and MH is 34. We'll be married for 2 years next month and have been TTC since then. We got back an azoo dx the day before Christmas in 2010 (awesome). We've been working with a urologist and RE since then. IVF/ICSI is our only option and are scheduled to do that in November.
I love to bake and like Naybird, I'm not artistic, but am proud of what I can do with my baking! I watch more TV than I should and love the Food Network.
Happy early birthday, Nagem927! Also, enjoy the Dominican Republic! We honeymooned there and it was awesome!
Two C/P and Lots of Tests
Me = LPD + cancer survivor, DH = low count and morphology
IUIs #1-5, January 2011 - June 2011 = BFN
IVF #1 in July/August 2011 = BFP!!!!!
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear."
Hi Everyone! I'm L and I'm 32 (32 in October). DH is 40 (41 in August) We live in the Philadelphia area and have been married since April 2009. We have been TTC since April 2010. Began seeing RE in October 2010. DX Endo. Started meds in prep for Aug FET.
I like good movies, good drinks, spending time with family and way too much reality TV.
Love reading about everyone! I am L (28) and my husband is A (28) and we live in Ohio. We have been trying since Dec '10, but I had lap surgery where my left tube was cauterized. My right tube is also swollen/ diseased so we are on to IVF. Testing has revealed no further issues at this time.
I love to do anything outdoors: skiing, runninh, hiking, mountain biking, boating, 4 wheeling, swimming, etc). Indoors, I enjoy cooking and sewing (although my sewing skills leave something to be desired). I also like to read or do anything that challenges my brain, such as Sudoku, crosswords, etc.
Hi. I"m jillychris (34) and my H is 33. We live in Southern California and have been TTC since summer 2010. I was diagnosed with DOR and LPD when my OB ran bloodwork in January 11, and referred us to an RE in Feb. 11. I've always had issues with lots of spotting/light bleeding during my LP and very short cycles, 20-22 days, but it's always been brushed off by past OB's as "okay." My new OB decided to run the b/w, and that's when we found out about my low AMH. Fast forward to July and I am in the 2ww of my failed IVF that was converted to an IUI (details in my siggy).
I love to read, actually drive MH crazy at times because I can get so lost in a book that I completely tune out everything around me, including him.
I also love the beach, and pretty much anything that involves being outside.

Hi! I'm Cee. I am 32 (33 in Sept) and DH is 36 (37 in Aug). We live in Kansas City. We started TTC in the fall of 2008, and then in the Spring of 2010 we sought help. Last fall we had a double whammy - I have high FSH and DH is azoo. Never saw that coming. Since that time we've only done IUIs with DS. And I think after the first of the year we'll move on to DE too.
I like to spend time with my doggies and my DH and help out with pet rescues. Other than that I like to spend my time stalking various IF boards.
SAIF Always Welcome
TTC #1 since Fall 2008
High FSH, Sertoli Cell Only Syndrome
Unsuccessful with my OE, moving to DE + DS

Hello, hello! I'm Lori, and am currently 32 for only one more week! DH is 34. We've been married for almost two years, but together for over nine, and TTC for the last year.
I found out about my PCOS sort of by accident. I had gone off BCP a while before we started really trying, and all this weird stuff started happening to me.... hot flashes, sweating a lot, gaining weight, acne like a high schooler... the first doctor told me basically to use more deodorant and exercise more (!!!! Excuse me?), but then I finally got hooked up with my current OB and he diagnosed me with PCOS, and our journey began. We tried two cycles with Clomid, to which I didn't respond, and we're in the middle of our third cycle with Femara and FSH injections. Fingers crossed, I'm on day 10 right now.
I'm a science geek, particularly for biology, and I work in a hospital lab. I like to run (I finished my first half marathon a few weeks ago... and haven't run a step since. Ha!), read, work crossword puzzles, and hang out with my two cats. We also spend a lot of time outdoors since we live in Big Sky Country!
March 2011: Diagnosed with PCOS
First cycle 3/11: 50mg Clomid = No response
Second cycle 4/11: 100mg Clomid = No response
Third cycle 5/11: 2.5mg Femara + 150IU FSH CD7 and 8 = Follies, but BFN
Fourth cycle 6/11: Femara + FSH again = Follies, but no ovulation and another BFN
Fifth cycle 7/11: Femara + FSH again = Wait and see!
I'm Mary and I'm 26, married to Kirk who is 27 (not surprising, right?). We also live in the VA suburbs outside of DC. We've been married almost 2 years. I was dx endo at 14, have had 3 laps, the most recent of which featured laser ablation, and in prepping for TTC H had and s/a which also revealed issues with MFI (mot/morph). I'm in the midst of a 6 month Lupron treatment cycle, and our d-day to start medicated treatments is NYE this year.
I like to hang out with my husband and my dog, see movies, and quilt. I do yoga and enjoy vodka beverages of all kinds.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Hi, I am Ellen and my DH is Chris (hence my screen name...and we got married on May 6, 2006). I am 37, DH just turned 40. Been TTC 3.5 years. We live in Pittsburgh, PA with 5 cats and a dog. We just got custody of my 11yo stepson (most likely not DH's biological child...but that's a whole other story!) IF info in siggy.
I love acting (I perform in many local community theaters and try to do extra work in movies and commercials), reading, working out, and drinking wine :-)
-------------------------
TTC Since 10/2007 with no luck and a 'go with the flow' attitude
1/1010 FINALLY decided to have testing done, dx MFI

10/2010 - Still low (but improved) sperm count.

November 2011 - AMH level tested - .83 (normal for age range)
February 2012 - IVF #4 w/ ICSI = (best response ever yet still) BFFN
April 2012 - DNA testing - NORMAL, RE suggests cycling again with own eggs or using DE
On Break indefinitely...not sure we can afford the emotional and financial roller coaster anymore.
*PAIFW/SAIFW*
I'm MB. DH and I are both 27. We have been TTC for a bit over two years. After a year-and-a-half of TTC, we went through all of the testing and everything came back completely normal, so we are unexplained. We are in the 2ww of our fifth medicated cycle, fourth IUI. We have no coverage for IVF and very little disposable income, so if the next IUI (or two) do not work, we're not sure exactly how to proceed.
I love to shop, scrapbook and entertain. DH and I are high school sweethearts and we met because we were both metalheads. m/

I am 30, DH is 34. We got married in August of 2007, but held off trying for a while. We found out D had low testosterone before we started TTC. The doc told us to try for 6 months and if nothing, then get a S/A done. In February we got the results - 4 sperm. The next was 1, the next was 0. DH was put on a medicinal protocol to help the sperm production. Lately it seems like it may be working. We are trying to get enough to have a chance at IVF.
I love Fireworks more than anyone should! DH and I love scuba diving, traveling, and good food and wine.
Dx: DH - Azoo, Me - Mild PCOS

I'm Mitzi soon to be 30 and DH is 31. We live in Europe. I'm pretty much a lady of leisure. I love to cook and balance my DH's chaotic work life by planning events, dinners, and vacations.
We're struggling with severe MFI and IVF-ICSI is our only option. We're doing our first cycle now and my ER will take place Sunday or Monday.
In the coming years we'd like to move to the US and in the mean time are trying to take advantage of the fantastic insurance here. I'm not quite sure how that will work if/when we have frozen embryos, but we'll deal with that when the time comes.
I'm MtLaurel, 35, and my DH is 41. We live in CT, and have been TTC since May 2010, got married in Oct. 2010. We are facing DOR and MFI. Just starting our first IVF cycle now.
I love to garden, hike, run, knit, cook - basically, anything but work!

Hi ladies!
I'm bella, 33 and Dh is 38. I have 1 more week to go until my beta from our 1st FET cycle..yay!!!! The rest of my IF/TTC history is in my siggy.
Like Mitzi, I am also a lady of leisure these days...I do though personally like to call myself a Domestic Goddess
- it's been wonderful not having to worry about anything and being able to cycle at the same time.
A little about me...I'm addicted to acupuncture, the internet and planning our next vacation (usually I have about 2-3 future vacations in mind all the time). I like to read (when I get to it), make homemade cards, go on wine tours (I live in wine country), entertain, hike, camp, ride our motorcycle, spend time with family and friends and adore our 3 pugs.

I'm Stacey. My name on here and my e-mail are madhatterxo. It's from Alice in Wonderland. I am 26, and DH is 27. We have been married just about 3 years, and have been TTC for 22 months. We live in New Jersey and have a Maltese named Wes, and a guinea pig named Max. My husband, Matt, is a 2nd grade teacher so the guinea pig was originally a class pet, but he lives with us in the summer and on the weekends. I love to play the piano, write poetry, play board games, watch movies, cook, and do crossword puzzles. I work as the human resources manager at a dental office even though my major in college was creative writing with a concentration in poetry. My whole family is in the dental field. I guess it was bound to happen.
As for IF, I suffer from stage 2 endo, lean pcos, and dor. We've done 2 TI Clomid cycles, 2 IUIs with Follistim where I developed OHSS both times, and I've had a lap surgery for endo. I've also been hospitalized quite a few times due to ovarian cysts and moderate OHSS. My RE has given us a <2% chance of conceiving naturally.
I also want to say that I have a little sister, Alexa Ivy Rose (she's 15), and she is absolutely wonderful. I like to include her in any about me posts because she's such a huge part of my life.

I'm Lauren. I'm 27, DH is also 27. We live in Oklahoma City. We have been TTC for 18 months. We were diagnosed with MFI in June (low numbers all 3) and DH's bloodwork shows low testosterone, so we're looking into treatments for that now. I don't have a lot of high hopes, even if we can get the numbers up, I doubt it will be up to normal levels and I think the best we can hope for is IUI. We absolutely cannot afford IVF (we are OOP), and financing it may be an option but we aren't sure. It's all very frustrating and stressful. I also have bipolar II disorder, so I am taking medication for that and haven't decided yet if I will continue it through pregnancy.
I like to read and play Call of Duty: Black Ops, and I love my dog Hazel (pit-Vizsla mix).
I'm Lori. I'm 38 and DH is 43 - I think that makes me the old lady on the board
We got married in April 2010 and have been TTC since then. I live in NJ close to NYC. Our Dx is MFI but it was always confusing to me. His numbers weren't that bad, just on the low end in a couple areas, but when they tried to process his sperm for an IUI most of them died off so there's something going on there. We were told IVF /ICSI is really our only option to get PG.
I've also discovered via my IVF and current FET cycles that I may have had lining issues all along that I suspect kept us from conceiving naturally. Fortunately that's getting resolved with estrogen patches and my lining is looking great for my transfer next week.
I have a busy job and travel a lot for it, but in my free time I love to read, cook, and just spend time with friends and family. We have three cats - I have no idea how that happened but I love them.
Oh, one other thing since I've referred to it a few times on here. We found out a couple months ago that my sister's breast cancer has metastasized and it's terminal. Thank goodness chemo is keeping the cancer at bay for now and giving her some extra time. It's obviously been very stressful and made me consider delaying fertility treatments but I decided to move ahead anyway. I found out about her cancer the same week I got my IVF BFN.
