Was your LO planned?

I am bored so I just thought I?d ask you ladies if your LO was planned or came unexpected.  My LO was definitely not planned because back then when I found out that I was pregnant I was still in school and my SO(now DH) has just left to the States. Even though the timing wasnt too great I was really happy to be pregnant and I think my LO is the best thing that has ever happened to me ;)

    My LO wasn't planned but I wasn't totally surprised by it either. I love being a mom. It couldn't be better than this....except if LO would sleep right now Smile

    LO was planned. I ditched the pill in June and got knocked up end of Aug.

    Nope- BC and antibiotics- I though they were out of my system but I guess not. But I am 28 and my husband is 37 so it was kinda time anyway.

    Not planned exactly.  We weren't preventing pregnancy, so it wasn't unexpected.

    Very planned, down to the month lol. We had a plan in mind for almost a year - go on our big vacation in Aug, then start trying in Sept (I was charting). Got pregnant the first try...

    Very planned. We had just moved back to the city we had grown up in, where our families were and decided to try. We got preg on the first try, Dec 2009 but miscarried shortly after finding out. It took a few months of trying after my cycle got regular after the m/c and got preg in August 2010 with our little man!

    Very planned. Stopped taking the pill in May and started charting, our wedding was coming up in August so we started trying. Got pregnant on the honeymoon with some preseed.

    Not planned for another year and a half to two years.  Someone had dfferent plans. :)  That's okay with us, we are thrilled!

    Planned for, wished for, hoped for and medicated for... even purchased because of circumstances.  We are very blessed and we are reminded every day when we see him.  After all our struggles and tears, IVF first try.   Very lucky.

    Last menstral cycle 9/09 Initial diagnosis PCOS (11/09) Provera (x2), P4 injection. Final Diagnosis POF (2/10) 
    Donor ER 8/27/10 -- ET 9/1/10 Beta 9/10/10=BFP! May 6th 2011 - Our sweet little bear was born!
    FET #2 July 3, 2014 - BFP!
    M/C @ 9 weeks

    FET #3 November 8, 2013 - BFN
    FET #4 February 12, 2014
    POAS (I cheated) BFP!

    Very much planned. We started TTC in October of 09, charting in April, on Metformin in May, and my BFP in September '10. We were starting Clomid in October so she had perfect timing! I know exactly how lucky I am.

    Very planned, although we were still surprised by how quickly it happened. Very fortunate there. I was already 39 when we got married last year so we knew we couldn't wait around. But couldn't just start trying on the honeymoon because it was in March and that could mean a Christmas baby, so we dropped the birth control a month later.

    This is me exactly- I was on the pill and took a strong antibiotic.   I am so happy that it happened though. My LO is the joy of my life. :)

    NOPE. Met/started dating DH in May, got KU in August, Eloped in January. Looks bad on paper, but DH is the best I could ever have hoped/prayed for and I love my LO. It's been quite a year.

    Planned. I am a teacher so I wanted my maternity leave to go right until the end of the school year and then take the summer off. She came earlier than expected though so my maternity leave ended just short of the school year ending. It still worked out great and I am loving my time at home with her.

    Planned- we m/c'd in July with our first pregnancy and were supposed to wait 3mths to try again but got pregnant 2mths after (so I guess that part was a surprise?)

    This one was unplanned and a total suprise!  I couldn't be happier though.  So much has changed in the past 2 years, and it feels like I know nothing other than being a mom, but right now, that's fine by me!

    Ours was sort of planned.  We got married in July and I had a doctors appt on Sept 1st in order to discuss some medical issues before we started trying.  Well at that appt I was cleared to start trying to get pregnant. DH was the one who was motivated to have a baby right away and I was okay with trying for a few months.  Well lo and behold we got pregnant that same week I was cleared! It was meant to be!

    We had planned on getting pregnant...

    Stopped BC and got pregnant immediately, then had a miscarrige.  The doctor told us to prevent for three cycles, but the one time we had unprotected sex we got pregnant.  We were scared but thrilled!

    Yes, I wanted to get pregnant sometime in the next year, so we stopped preventing and I was pregnant within 2 months. We were surprised because we thought it would take longer. I'd been on birth control for 10+yrs and all the close women in my family have had fertility issues. We were thrilled and everyone was so surprised because we didn't tell anyone we were trying yet.

    Yes our DD was planned. We were one of the lucky ones that got ku our first month trying. So seeing a positive that month was a surprise, I thought it would take a lot longer for us for some reason.

    Definitely planned. We had started trying summer of 2009. Got pg, had a miscarriage in September 2009. Got pg again, had a miscarriage in February of 2010. First cycle on progesterone, got pg and I STAYED pregnant this time. LO was born May 14th 2011...just a year and 2 days after the first one would have been due if I hadn't had a m/c. He is a blessing.

    Our condom broke Embarrassed Lol but we couldn't be happier :)

    11/2013- Diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis
    07/2014- emergency surgery to remove hemorrhaging cyst first RE missed, removed endo from fallopian tubes, hsg done, d&c performed to remove polyphs in uterus, femvue done, put on dexamethasone and metformin
    08/2014- miscarriage, second RE refuses to mark down in charts, switch again
    03/2016- IUI #1, waiting for results on April 17

    Not planned and totally surprised. DH was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 09 and was perfectly healthy after they removed it.  I was preparing myself to have trouble having babies, but clearly Georgie had other plans in store!  We were still preventing so it was such a shock and blessing!  We couldn't be happier.

    Our LO was totally planned. We didn't chart but we did have sex every other day starting 7 days after my AF had started. It took us 2 weeks to conceive.
