Sac Mommies - Roseville Aquatics - Toddler Time

For anyone who is interested, I'm taking my kids to Roseville Aquatics Center for their toddler time.  It's basically a beach entry "pool" but sort of Nickelodeon style.  There's a climbing/jungle gym type structure with a slide and lots of water being sprayed around.  The deepest it goes is about 2--3 feet. (I didn't check this - just going off of memory).

Anyway - if anyone wants to join me, here are the details:

10:00 - 12:30

$5 for parent and one child.

$3 for additional children.

We will be there at 10:00 and stay until Natalie decides she's had enough.  When I went last year, I'd bring snacks and a lunch, a picnic blanket and that's about it.  Oh - and have your small ones wear water shoes so that they don't burn their feet on the hot ground.  Ryan loved it - although doesn't remember it now.

Kids must be under 6 years old to go.

Here's the link (and a picture of the actual area):

Let me know if I should look for you.

From what I know, they are always closed on Fridays - they have swim meets and such.  :(

  • I'd love to meet up with you ladies while I am on maternity leave.  I will try and make it.

D - do you think it would be an okay place for me to bring baby to, being only 3 weeks old?  I am a bit worried about DS # 1 at a pool without another person to help me with the baby.

  • Stephanie - I think you would totally be fine. The area isn't that big - and the water isn't very deep.  Lots of moms are wearing their little ones with a light blanket or something over the carrier.  I'd be happy to help keep an eye on your older one - and maybe between the two of us, we could keep an eye on Natalie?  Ryan will be fine (I think) and there are lifeguards on duty.

    I hope you come! :)

  • This looks like such a fun place!  Wish we could join you!
  • Wish we could!  Have fun!
  • We haven't been at all this summer and went a TON last year.  Sad face.  It's so awesome there and I know Simon would LOVE it.

Steph, you'll be fine, actually it's a great place just bring a baby carrier.  When the "Sactie 5", lol were all itty bitties last summer I clearly remember all of us being there with our suits and baby carriers on, just bring a light blanket or something to guard from the sun.

Miss playing w you guys!  :(
