  People kept telling me it would get better.  It hasn't.  It still hurts so much that I want to cry sometimes.  Sucktastic.

  This was the same thing that happened to me early on. I found that if I hand express some onto a towel, enough to get a good flow started, the pain stopped. HTH

  Yes, unfortunately letdown in the first few months can really be uncomfortable. Mine felt like stabbing, burning, or itching. It does eventually change as your breasts acclimate to needing to let down vs being constantly full and needing to be emptied.
