Question regarding genes.
Hello gals, my name is Gracie May, I am 26 years old and this will be mine and my husbands first month of trying for a baby, our first!
First of all I am very excited to be joining the forum today, and getting to meet y'all.
Now, I had a question regarding genes and how your baby boy or girl will look when born. Specifically what genes he or she might inheret from ma or pa.
My husband was in fact, and even his mother agrees on me with this one, a pretty darn ugly baby. There was nothing cute, or likable about him until sometime at around age 10 or 11 we think. After that he grew up looking very handsome, and he still is today.
My concern is, what are the chances that his genes will over take mine and our child would come out nearly or just as ugly? I don't want him to get made fun of at school for being the ugly freak. My husband was, daily, for most of his childhood, and his family is grateful that God lifted such a burden from him and spared him from futher teasing and life threatening traumatization.

Was he this ugly? If so, then yes you have a problem.
