Very cool!!!!! I could never do that, I get wicked vertigo on boats and throw up non stop
Would you believe, I get wicked seasick. But there is a British drug, called Stugeron (developed for the RAF), which is frustratingly not available in the US, but is luckily available in all the Commonwealth countries, that is very effective for me. I never leave port without it.
Who went to 11 different schools from K-12. Gotta love being a military brat and spending all of 6 months living with our father (went to two different schools just in that 6 months).
I was on the math team all 4 years of high school and absolutely LOVED it!! It was my favorite high school activity and I don't consider myself all that smart either lol

That's awesome! I lived on a sailboat for a year - but we just sailed the Caribbean. I'm so jealous!
And here I assumed that I was the only CLOD (cruiser lost on dirt) on here! Do you miss it? I really miss the adventure, and the other cruisers. Such a fun and interesting group of people.

Aw, I love this one! I wasn't big into any academics in high school, but as a 3rd grade teacher I absolutely LOVE math and love to hear about girls/women who love math! Yeah for you!

Between all of the books in the series, I have read/listened to them well over a hundred times. I have the audiobooks on in the background while I'm sewing/cleaning, etc... And I never get tired of the stories.
Who can't touch a cotton ball. I actually just got goosebumps thinking about the feeling...and I'm a nurse so I use gauze for EVERYTHING
Same here! It even makes me grit my teeth!! And when the nurses try to touch me with them...ugh! I have to ask for gauze as well.

I bet I'm the only one who lost 200 lbs since their 23rd bday and totally transformed my body!
Not to say that I have the perfect body- I'm certainly far from it. But it's a far cry from what I used to be!!
This is FANTASTIC!! Congratulations... Did you subscribe to a particular program or just change of lifestyle?
After trying every diet under the sun I found out i had celiac disease which in a way contributed to my over-eating (aka none of the nutrients were being absorbed in my intestines so I was constantly eating and constantly hungry). I had gastric bypass 6 months before my wedding (imagine trying to fit a wedding dress at that time...) and did a total change of lifestyle as far as the foods I eat. Unfortunately over 50% of the people who have weight loss surgery gain back that weight plus more in 4 years. I'm now 6 years post-op and have maintained my weight (excluding the weight gain with pregnancy from DD- although I lost that afterwards through healthy eating).
I hate exercise but had to start exercising once my stomach expanded back to a normal size (which happened much sooner than i'd hoped!) so I'd have to do a lot of work to get these thighs down, too, but I'm much happier being a size 14/16 than the 32W I was!
I have to make sure I'm careful with what I eat now to a certain extent because I know firsthand how bad eating can compile very quickly. My goal is to NEVER EVER gain enough back to even be close to that. That's why pregnancy weight gain is so scary for me! I know it's necessary but it freaks me out b/c I don't want to lose the control I have now that it took me 24 years to get!

A dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep. In dreams you will lose your heartaches. Whatever you wish for you keep. Hold on to your dreams and someday your rainbow will come shining through. No matter how your heart is bleeding if you keep on believing the dream that you wish will come true. - Cinderella
