Pregnancy pillow being hijacked by my dog!

Thought I'd share my amusement with you all. I just recently got a great pregnancy pillow (https://www.amazon.com/Leachco-Back-Belly-Contoured-Pillow/dp/B0002E7DIQ) and it is so comfortable. Unfortunately, it's so comfortable that apparently my dog wants it for herself! Everytime I turn my back, she sneaks upstairs and curls up in it. She even tried dragging it on the floor right next her own dog bed. She knows she is not allowed on our bed but this pillow is just too tempting! I woke up in the middle of the night last night (to pee, right on schedule at 3 am) and she was curled up by my feet with her head on the bottom of the pregnancy pillow. I couldn't get mad at her because it was so cute. I guess I better be prepared to fight her for the pillow or I need to get her a more cushy dog bed!

Re: Pregnancy pillow being hijacked by my dog!

  • My dog is all up on mine too. Do you like that one? I have the Leachco Snoogle and I don't really like it. I just can't get comfortable and I don't think the head part is supportive enough. I keep ending up on my back, and I only have a few more weeks until you're not supposed to sleep on your back. My shoulder/neck have been hurting too. My dog likes to curl up in the C part of it when I'm not using it- or when she can kinda push me to the side. lol

  • Haha, no it's not my dog in the photo but if you made that dog black and tan, it would look pretty identical to what is going on in my house. I didn't notice that picture uploaded before so I'm glad it's not just my dog stealing the pillow.

And yes, I really like this pillow shape. I normally sleep on my stomach or back, never on my side. But it's already uncomfortable on my stomach and when I sleep on my back now I get back pain in the morning. I double up the head part so my head is slightly more elevated (I usually like 2 pillows) and sleep on my side now. I like the shape because it's easy to switch sides without having to move the whole pillow.

  • I'm thinking I'm going to have to invest in one of these very soon.  I have like 4 pillows that I switch back and forth through every night.  I can NEVER get comfortable.. This looks like it may do the trick!

  • My dog has taken over my pillow as well!! She has her own huge dog bed and is now finding herself on my bed at night! I'll use the bathroom and she has taken over my pillow completely!! It's hard to get mad you're right!
