I've been sick the past week. Today was the first time I pumped since getting sick. I am going to be donating the last of my stash soon since we'll be day-weaning starting next week. I normally put the newest milk in the back of my stash and give DS the oldest milk for each bottle (only two bottles per week).
I am wondering though if I should keep this milk out of the donate stash and just give to DS in his bottle later this week? Or is it okay to donate the milk that I pumped while sick? I know its good to BF while sick to pass on the antibodies, but I didn't know if it was frowned upon for donating milk.
FWIW, I donate through Human Milk for Human Babies, not a milk bank.

I think I woudl give it to DS as soon as I could, assuming whatever you are ill with he too has been exposed to. I would give him whatever anitbosies I could.
I don't however think its an issue with donating.
