I see a lot of "little monkey" and cute pet names in people's posts and siggys. What do you call your LO? And where did the name come from (if it's not related to their given name)? Did it start while you were pregnant or did it come over time?

Monkey or Kbug...or bugster. I call him Bug-man the most though. Have no diea where it came from.
We called her Turd for awhile because that's what we called each other. DH now calls her Pickle though. I asked him how he came up with it and he said, "Well, we call her Turd and Princess all the time, so I just combined them".
And so, she is Pickle.
Could it be because her cheeks are so smooshable? Cause they totally are.
BTW, love her name.

I thought about asking this a couple of days ago but never got around to it, lol. Glad you did
I call DD Baby Doll usually, or occasionally Baby Girl. That got me in trouble when I took her to a baby shower and they had the clothespin game going. I've been calling her Baby Doll pretty much since day 1, I think it's mostly due to her being so tiny (at least for my family).
there's sooo many! ebee, bebe, emma b., stinks, stickabutt, lil markette (she's a spitting image of her daddy mark), chunks, goob & of course her name...Emma Bliss. :] lots of names!
"Beanie" Natural 7w MC 11/21/12
"Nole" stopped growing at 7w3d D&E 2/11/13
Diagnosed with MTHFR and Factor V Leiden on 4/3/13
Due with RAINBOW GIRL 2/10/15
I love that you're "Crunchy" and she's "Munchie"! lol
We call DS buster, big boy, stinkbutt or Mr. Magoo. No idea why or where these came from (except Stinkbutt-I believe that says it all!), but he seems to like them!
Pecan. Because she's too big to be a peanut
ETA: Oh, and "Drama," because she's showing drama queen tendencies already. That's my girl.
We have a lot- Pax, Mr.P, bubbaloo, bubs, my itty bitty man, handsome and dude mostly, with the occasional poopeyman, stinka, drooliepoo, or cranky pants (for obvious reasons.)
we all so call him his full name quite often, which I never thought we would- Paxton Michael.
LOL! I call mine Drama Queen sometimes as well. I posted that her nickname is "Chicken", but sometimes I call her "Dramatic Chicken".
I'm lovin' all the nicknames for your LO's
...
We call our DD: Baby Girl, Sweet Pea, Chickie Poo, Tinkerbell (started as "Tinky" instead of "Stinky" because, well, she's a Lady!!), Kenzie (from her name), and my mom calls her Lil' Miss.
I call DS button. I think it came from "cute as a button" but in all reality I am not sure why I started calling him that.
We just called him little man when I was PG since we didn't have a name.
I call my son the Milk Monster. He is always hungry and wants the boob constantly. He gets the biggest smile once he is latched on, it's so cute!
Jack-Jack and Ian-Monster are what we use most often. Everyone accuses me of stealing Jack-Jack from The Incredibles, but I swear it just fell off my tongue in the hospital and I didn't think of that until DH mentioned it.
We also use Fussy Butt, Little Man, Fussy Pants, and Fussy Baby interchangeably whenever they apply. I think their origins are pretty self-explanatory.
ETA: Oh yeah, and when they're screaming due to hunger, they're Starvin' Marvin.
