Same old same old here. It's my two year TTC anniversary today, and since period was only a day and a half this time (WTF), I'm buying FRER tomorrow just to be safe before four days of my town's festival where I plan to drink alot every night (DH is president & I chair events so we've taken several days off work).

QOTD: I attended my ten year reunion five years ago (class of '96 shout out). On Friday night we had the football game followed by beers at the BW3 near school. Then Saturday nigh was a dance club type bar closer to Chicago. Ithink I had built it up a little too much in my head that I was a bit disappointed, but still a fun time. But for the most part - cliques stayed who they always hung with. Not much had changed. AND this was in the time before facebook really took off (Myspace was just starting to be used by about a third of my class). I don't know that if they have another one that I'll go...I keep in touch with those that I was to keep in touch with.

So we decided to do a pseudo med-free cycle with no IUI for the time being. I'm just so impressed that I had a normal cycle in June I really want to see if I'm going to O again on my own. They are going to monitor me and said they'd give me a trigger if I wanted (that's why I say pseudo med-free). Anyway, a line is already showing up on an OPK so I'm supposed to go in for monitoring tomorrow to see what kinda follies I have growing.

QOTW: This was asked b/c my 10 year reunion was this weekend. We did a meet and greet dinner on Friday night, had a picnic Sat. afternoon (DH and I didn't attend b/c it was family oriented and we don't have kids...), and then Sat. night was a throw back to the prom...we got dressed up, had a DJ, had a nice buffet and a cash bar (a + to our senior prom Stick out tongue )

I'm glad I went, got to catch up with some old friends and had a good time. I was expecting to not really recognize people, but we were all joking about how well we've all aged! I feel like its one of those rite of passages...of course it makes me feel really old now too!

Nothing new here. My RE appointment to get the ball rolling for my next cycle is a month from today. I'm seriously counting down.

QOTW: I haven't had mine yet, I've only been out of HS 7 years. I might go to mine, it just kind of depends on a lot of factors. My home town is in NC, and we live in PA so it'll depend on if I can or will make the trip down for it.

No, I did not go, for a couple of reasons. I still see the people I want to, my husband had to work late that night and it was super over priced for a buffet style dinner with shredded chicken sandwiches, vegetables and salad ($80/ couple.)

Update: I was feeling a bit crampy again after 3 days of feeling wonderful, so I tested and the trigger is out. I hate seeing that white test, even if it doesn't mean anything. I hope the cramping means that things are happening in a positive way.

QOTW: My class is so screwed up and lazy that they had a Monday night at a bar thing and called it a 10th reunion. Lame and I obviously didn't go. There was no 15, so my only hope is that someone back home gets their shiit together in the next 3 years so we can have a 20... 20?!?!? Crap. I'm old.

QOTW: I didn't go to my 10 year reunion (which was this summer) but I did go to DH's. He went to a boarding school and the reunion was so much fun -- we slept in the dorms and had 2 days of riding horses, trapshooting, concerts, and hanging out with his high school friends (who've also become my friends over the years).

My high school on the other hand -- eh. The people I like, I still keep in touch with, and the people I don't... I don't really care about seeing.

QOTW: My 10 yr. reunion is not until next year, but DH's is next weekend. We are still undecided if we will go or not since we still live in the same town that we went to HS in and pretty much keep in touch with the people we care about. Plus, it's 70 bucks a person for an In-n-Out dinner and cash bar! That seems a little ridic to me.

Update: Well, I guess IVF #3, take 4 will be cancelled again tomorrow. At my baseline last Thursday, my lining was too thick and my follies were already growing. I did two Ganirelix injections Thursday evening to help keep my follies from growing, but I really needed to have some more bleeding and I haven't. I'm guessing they won't even want to check things out before cancelling me.

QOTW: I was out of town for work for my 10 year. MH's 10 year is in a couple of weeks. MH and I will be attending.

We didn't have a 10 year reunion ~ I am not sure why, I had moved away from my hometown, there was talk about having one but it just never happened. If there had been one I would have gone.

QOTW: Went to mine and had a blast! I was a more shy and quiet in HS and kind of blossomed a bit in college. I had a friend tell me that a bunch of people were saying they were surprised how "hot I got"...... I didn't ever get anything close to that so it felt great!

My cycles are short though, so I think that's the problem (Dr. Raggedy)4) What treatments have you done? Had all the typical bloodwork and an HSG, this is our third cycle of Clomid 50mg with an HCG trigger. We had two "beautiful" follies this cycle and a nice lining, so we're hopeful! If this isn't our BFP cycle then we're moving on to injections and IUI next cycle.QOTW: I was in charge of mine, class of '97. We had a cocktail party in a private room at a local "cool" bar, some finger foods and music. It had a pretty good turnout, but I'm not sure I want to be in charge of the next one.

Update: Meeting with RE candidate #1 tomorrow. This is the one my gyn recommends, but they're 1 1/2 hours away (without traffic).

QOTW: Actually, we just had my 15 year reunion a few weeks ago. I probably would have gone (it was a nice low-key picnic at a the same park near our HS where we had our senior picnic), but we were on vacation for our anniversary. We didn't have a 10 year reunion at all.

No diagnosis yet. First HSG showed no die flow into FT's so we are going to repeat HSG in August to see if they are truly blocked or I was just cramping. If they are still blocked then we will do a lap.

we should have had our 10 yr 2 years ago (c/o 99) but stupid people didnt plan it. i was very upset about it but totally woulda gone.

Update: Still waiting on follies to grow a little bit more, u/s and b/w in the AM hoping that I will be triggering tomorrow, and hopefully IUI Weds.

QOTW: My 10 year will be next spring, and I am not sure if I will go or not. The people that I care to see I still hang out with and keep in contact with. I guess it will depend on what the plan is, if it looks like it will be something fun the hubs and I might go. We graduated from the same school, same year too.

Still waiting for my cycle to start. I think tomorrow will be CD1. Crossing my fingers! This will be my first AF of 2011.

Sadly, I didn't go to my 10 year. I live 14 hours away from home and just wasn't willing to make the trip. I kinda regret not going.

Update: Yesterday was my ET for our FET. They thawed 3 3-day embryos, an 8B and 2x 9Bs. Unfortunately, none of them thawed fully intact - one 9B became a 5B, one 9B became a 7B, and the 8B became a 6B. Since they didn't thaw super well but over 50% of the cells were alive in all of them, they considered all 3 to be viable but advised we transfer 3, which is what we did.

Zookie, I think maybe I should be switched from the PCOS category to unexplained...early on in our treatments I was dx with lean PCOS based on mild O dysfunction and my over-response to stimulation but at this point I think that dx is pretty in doubt and I am more unexplained than anything. thanks!

QOTW: My 10 year high school reunion will be next year. If I happen to be in the states that time of year, I would definitely go.

We are in the midst of our first IVF-ICSI+IMSI cycle. I have an appointment Wednesday for another ultrasound and I'm assuming they will do my ER at the end of the week.

So far it looks like I have 4 larger follicles on each side plus a few smaller ones. Yesterday I began my second shot so I don't ovulate before the ER. Getting all of these shots, blood draws, and doctor visits makes me feel like a medical experiment and I am so tired all the time. Tomorrow I have a pre-surgery EKG. I guess that's normal here.

My DH is really anxious about things and worried his sperm won't be good enough or we'll have fertilization issues. This has been quite the month.

QOTD: I didn't go to my high school 10 year since I live abroad. Honestly I don't feel I missed anything, because I am "friends" with so many on facebook, so they all know what I'm doing. Funny enough my HS boyfriend added me on facebook yesterday. He's divorced with a 5 year old daughter. It makes me realize how everyone is going through something.

Nothing new here. I finished the Clomid last week and it looks like my body is gearing up to O, but we will wait and see.

QOTW: I did go to my 10 year reunion in 2009, and it was super lame. It was a bar thing on a Saturday night, and the cliques stayed with the cliques. I left after an hour.

Update: Repeating last round of treatment, no real updates yet.

QOTW: Highschool: I did not go, honestly I had no intention of going, but at the same time there was no invitation or annoucement that it was even happening so I don't even know if it did. College: Hasn't happened yet, I might go, its usually just during Homecoming, and I enjoy the game so who knows.

I'm at the very end of my first IUI 2ww. I've been testing the past few days and all BFN, so now I'm just waiting around for AF. To add to the awesomeness, I think the Clomid is messing with my LP and making it longer than it usually is. We'll be moving onto Clomid and IUI #2 if AF ever decides to show up.

QOTW: To be honest, I don't even know if my class had a 10 year reunion. I probably wouldn't have gone anyway though. The only people I really care to see from HS I see regularly anyway.

On birth control for IVF#1 - going in on Wednesday for mock transfer and inject training. Starting lupron shots on Aug. 1st - lupron should be coming in the mail tomorrow. Getting excited to get this show on the road!

QOTW: I went to my 10 year - and it wasn't awful but I don't plan on going to any more in the future. There is a reason I haven't stayed in touch with many of these people - and I would rather just keep tabs with them via facebook.

I didn't go to mine. I found out ahead of time that it was going to be a golf tournament and then the bar. I don't play golf or drink, so it seemed silly to fly back for it. Later found out only 5 people went, so I'm really glad I saved my money.

In the 1WW now. Not much going on. Still mentally preparing for IUI #3 in September - I HATE Clomid!

QOTW: I did go to my reunion. It was okay. Nice to see everyone, but I didn't stay very long. Most of the group that stayed the whole time hangs out together all the time anyway! I moved about an hour away from my hometown when I went to college and didn't move back - most of my old friends still live there.

Update: I'm at the end of my 2WW of our first IUI. Testing day is Thursday if I make it that far. I'm starting to get a few AF symptoms, but today is our anniversary so we're trying to hold out hope for a great anniversary present!

QOTW: I don't plan on going to my reunion, and DH doesn't care to go to his either. If your our friends, we already talk to you.

IUI is officially a BFN. AF arrived yesterday. My husband is going to call our insurance company today to see if we have enough meds coverage for one more cycle and then we are going to discuss if we want to do it. I should know the game plan by the end of today.

QOTW - I went to the family picnic part of my family reunion, but not the dinner. It sucked. The only people I really talked to were the people I'm still friends with and talk to anyways. At least it was free.

No real update here. My DH's repeat S/A & AR test results should be in today (I hope!) so we can make a plan of attack.

QOTW: My 10 year reunion was last year. I didn't go. It was at a local brewery and cost $80 per person to go. I thought $160 for me & DH was pretty steep, plus he didn't want to go. Honestly, I didn't want to go either, and I have no regrets.

4) What treatments have you done? 3 rounds of clomid with OB, started injects (gonal-f) with RE. After two canceled cycles now we are on femara + gonal-f + ovidrel + IUI. First IUI was a bust, in the 2WW for the second.

Update: I'm in my second clomid cycle right now (100mg) and go in for my follie scan on Friday. If all goes well, my next steps are trigger and TI.

IUI #2 was a BFN, but that is what we expected anyway. DH had very low numbers due to an infection, and we didn't decide to do the IUI early enough for me to take meds. On with #3 now. If this one doesn't take, we'll be taking a treatment break and trying on our own until DH recovers from his upcoming surgery.

QOTW: This month has flown by for us. We've actually been trying to relax and enjoy the summer, but with lots of travelling and events, it's hard to slow down.

All my info is in my signature. Just had my BFP on friday July 15th from my IUI.

QOTW: Mine is coming up this October. I will not be going. It cost $100 per couple to go see a highschool football game one night, then the next night is one drink at a bar in town and the third day is a family bbq. I would of been down if it was just a dinner out but too many things and two I still lived where I grew up. The way I see it is if I still live this close and don't see you..why go to reunion. I keep in contact with those I grew up with that are important to me. So getting together to talk about jobs, family etc that no one really cares about or if they did they would of contacted you previously doesn't seem exciting to me.
