Suppositories Safe?

I went to see an ob about my hemorrhoids, but she couldn't prescribe a suppository because there were none that my insurance covered?  Can I take Prep H suppositories, do you think?  It says If pregnant or nursing, ask health care provider, and the pharmacist said it should be fine.  Thanks!

    Every medication or OTC med has that warning, even things specifically made for nursing or pregnant women.

    I would trust the pharmacist's advice and use them.  They know as much/more about medications as a doctor.
