After only 5 days of minimal use (pumping once or twice a day for 20 minutes each), my Ameda Purely Yours breast pump broke! I got it as a gift and did not receive a gift receipt. Of course it says in the directions that you need a receipt for warranty coverage. We googled the pump and found that other users were saying that the motor blows quickly, but customer service would send them a new motor. I hope they do. I called them today, but it was after hours. I really hope they do not give me any issues. I'm hot. I'm hormonal. Don't mess with me!

Unfortunately breast feeding did not work for me. I used this pump for about 2 weeks. It is brand new, purchased from Babies-R-Us store, and it works like brand new. EVERYTHING is included PLUS EXTRAS!!! Babies-R-US and Medela will not take returns on breast pumps because they are considered "personal care items". This is why I am selling on eBay, rather than letting it sit around unused. This pump retails for $279.99. Because it was briefly used I have reduced the price. All items have been sanitized according to manufacturer guidelines.
It sold for $140 (shipping included) and it comes with extras like soft breast shields, nursing cover, freezer storage containers and nursing pads. I think it's a good deal. Sorry yours broke!
Oh, no!! That's the pump I have. I've never dealt with customer service directly but I've read that people have had great experience with customer service.
