Matched Again-Hoping it'll be a happy ending
DH's cousin and her hubby had a baby today. It was their second. Her hubby is adopted and they're some of our dearest friends. They have been with us through our entire journey and we with their struggles to conceive. We were all so excited when we found out that our first match would have been born right around the same time as theirs. DH and I were both so excited for them and I worried about her all day until I got the word that all was ok. (She and her son almost died due to hospital complications and an infection with her first birth).
But DH and I were both a little bummed as we headed out to the hospital, it was that bitter sweet feeling. Well, we were only about 1/2 way to town when the phone rang. It was after 5pm and it was the agency. They said that we have been matched again! We don't have a lot of details, but were told that the baby is due August 4! Uh-that's like 10 days!! And they said BM went to the hospital last night but was sent home and delivered her two previous children early. BM has requested that she sign TPR (48 hours after birth) and then we will be able to see the little one for the first time. So send us any T&Ps if you can! Have a great weekend!
