Honestly, I can usually stay out of the stupid crap arguments but there is something about the bump that makes it so hard to just laugh and move on. Maybe it's the large concentration of people saying stupid *** they don't think out first, or the other snark already on the board, or the fact that this board has a really good balance of people being able to say what they think/feel without making every idiot need to run for cover... IDK, I just can't seem to read a post on 2nd tri today without wanted to physically reach through my screen and slap someone.

Le sigh.

Eh, you get used to it. The boards are surprisingly mild in comparison to the explosions that were occuring during my first pregnancy. I actually took a few bump-cations because it was just too much.

Ive noticed other boards, not the december 2011 one but others are very disrespectful and immature. I can't believe grown women talk like they do and think its okay. Ive learned to stay out of it unless its something offensive to myself or my child, then i jump in.

I'm SOOOOO with you! Normally I can roll my eyes and walk away. Somethings people have said to me on these board have made me lose sleep! I'm not sure, maybe it's the hormones but things here hurt worse. Which is RIDICULOUS! I think the Baby Name Board is the worst. Don't get me wrong, I love thebump. I don't really have a lot of support and people to ask advice from and it's nice to see what others think and have advice on. But there's so many that are just hurtful and rude. I'm not sure if society is just coming to this or it's the wonderful internet that people hide behind. I really try my best to live with the "if there's nothing nice to say, don't say anything" rule. If I have zero responses to my post I know I'm being an idiot...It's better than one person saying it clearly and 15 others just repeating. Nothing is better to send a pregnant girl over the cliff!

and in my opinion i think those women who are mean on the board are the timid and shy ones in real life, the internet is the best place to say what you want to say and be mean to other people which they know there will no consequences involving their actions.
