I decided to switch it up and try them this time and they're pretty decent. The only problem is that they don't have any iron. My OB said to start on a supplement... just wondering if anyone else is also?
I take them too because they are yummy and don't get me nauseaus. I started on them a few months ago because we were TTC. My sister pointed out that they don't have iron too. I think I'm going to just buy some OTC iron and take it daily. I might wait until my next OB appt and see how much I should be taking.
I researched it and it said iron is really important in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters so I might just wait 2 weeks until my next appt to start the supplement. They are so much easier to take then those horse pills!
I was taking them until I realized they have no iron and I had to take an iron supplement too and I hate taking more pills than necessary so I switched back to regular so its only one pill a day. Plus my husband kept eating them cause he said they tasted like candy
I am going to supplement the gummies with iron as well. I was using Meijer one-a-day which didn't give me any problems but didn't have any DHA which was why I switched. I still take DHA separately as well but I think DHA is one thing to load up on. I don't mind taking lots of pills though, thankfully!

When my OB told me to take an iron supp, I didn't think to ask how much. So, if you ask let me know! I'm wondering if that will help with this exhaustion any.
And pp, it's too funny that you said your DH was eating them. Mine brought them to me one day and asked if he could try them, but I told him no. hahaa
I've been taking them for about a year, I've always loved the way they taste. But I think I'm going to switch now, for the past few days they've been giving me a really nasty aftertaste that I can't get rid of. Oh, the joys!
I just started taking them too. Before that I I was taking 2 flinstone's but I definitely wanted the DHA. I think they are great. I did wonder about the iron. The reason why I took the flinstones and gummys is because I can't swallow big pills. Are the iron supplements small? Glad to know others out there are taking in. Just curious...how much DHA is in the serving? Mine has 65 mg but I heard there is one with more mg.

so funny i just bought these today but i am not going to take them after realizing they have no iron and no calcium. i will save them for after when i am bf'ing but in the meantime take my target ones.
they are small and i never had any issues last time around.
I'm taking them for right now since everything else was making me sick. I also take a Folic Acid w/DHA and a DHA supplement. I didn't realize about the iron, but I will totally be fine taking a supplement for that, too.
This is a late update but after I switched back to the meijer brand (156% of my daily iron) for a few days I felt much less tired than just on Vita Fusion alone. I still am tired and probably will go take a nap soon, but I haven't napped as often since switching back.
