Padded nursing bra?

I know there have been lots of posts about nursing bras lately, so I apologize if this has already been asked/answered (feel free to send me the thread - I went back a few pgs).

Do padded nursing bras exist? I bought 1 regular nursing bra because it was ridiculously cheap at Gap the other day, knowing full well it may not fit when my milk comes. But I didn't realize how 'thin' they are. I mean in theory it makes sense - easy to unsnap and nurse - but holy heck! I don't want to be "pointing" at everyone that comes over to visit me and LO, once he/she arrives. Do the nursing pads help with this? Or is there some miraculous padded nursing bra out there??

Re: Padded nursing bra?

  • I think there are padded ones, but I just bought a thicker one that's not "padded" per se, because my E cups don't need anything to make them bigger.  My nips never show through with those.   I've also seen some of the really thin ones (and worn them at night, etc.) but I wouldn't wear them out of the house.

  • The Bravado Bliss bra isn't necessarily padded but is definitely thick enough to hide the nipples and nursing pads.  Although I am needed new ones.  They're a little thick for the crazy summer heat and even though DD is 9mos, I'm pretty sure we'll be nursing for awhile.

  • i have lightly padded ones. they aren't as easy because they are thicker. i can't remember if it's anita or bella materna.

i think they hide the headlights Surprise

i didn't want to deal with pads since i don't leak.
