Please tell me your favorite!

Ok, I talked to DH last night and we are pretty much back to the same names we started out with way back in the beginning. So, here are the options for DD #2's name.

Harper Kate (DH's absolute favorite)

Tessa Kate (nn Tess)

Molly Grace or Molly Harper

Sydney Grace

Last name is Pond. Kate and Grace are both family names. Kate has a bit more meaning than Grace. We're open to other MN suggestions as well!

In a vacuum, I really like the name Tessa Kate, but the desiccate thing puts me off of it. Good point.

I like Sydney Grace, as well.

I like Molly Kate.

I'm so over Harper and I think it's going to sound quite dated because it's skyrocketing in popularity (probably moreso with the Beckham's using it).

I really don't know what my deal is, lol. I really do like all of these names, and for a while I was really excited about Harper. Maybe I just have too much time on my hands and I've become a little obsessed. Or maybe because Harper has gotten so many mixed reactions from people that I'm letting it sway my decision.

I guess I'd have to say Harper is my favorite.

I did this too, and still do every once in a while. But what really does it for me is when I see her name written on a card, or when someone else says her name. It makes it "hers" and all of a sudden I don't care what other people think, it's just right.

I like Tessa and Molly best, and Grace or Kate with either. But if you like Harper best, go for it! You don't want to regret your decision because of what other people said, do you?

In order of my personal preference, if it were my baby to name:

Tessa Kate (Tess is a sweet nickname, and don't let the "dessicate" thing freak you out...honestly, how many people in day to day life even think in that much detail?)

Molly Harper (Molly is a cute, spunky name, and you could name her Harper without making it her first name, so it has all the elements you've mentioned before)

Harper Kate (I like the sound of these two together)
