Breast pumps

I am due to have twins in 6.5 weeks and I am trying to find a good breat pump.. I really would like to use the medella breast pump, but i afraid it is a little out of my price range. Can any of you suggest a great reast pump? Thanks so much

    I think it depends on what/why/how often you will be pumping. I have a Medela Pump In Style Advanced. I was VERY lucky because MIL got it for me. I have had great success with it. I use it everyday to pump at work.

    I've heard other ladies who have used the Lanisoh ones and the Ameda and liked them, but I have no experience with them.

    I use a Lansinoh double electric pump. It works just fine. This is the only pump I've used, so I can't compare it to a Medela. Did you check to see if your insurance will cover the cost of a pump? If not, I can totally symphathize with you. I bought this brand b/c I couldn't afford a Medela either.
