Cloth Diapering

Buffy is having a week of 'sposies.

week vacation, OOT.

We're limited to carryon and I'm already over the limit.  I wasn't keen on the idea of bringing home a week's worth of dirty diapers, even at the best of times.  But really, all things considered, trying to cloth is just to hard--I'm packing 24 hours worth of diapers and buying more when we get to our destination..

BUT, the entire stash is clean because of that--the Mr. washed the last of them while Buffy is elsewhere today.  huzzah for baskets full of clean diapers.

AND, the day after we get back, we have a baby-shower for cousin who I updated my spreadsheet for who is considering cloth and who I embellished a pair of prefolds for (because those are 'non-pushy', IMO.  Because if she decides not to CD, she can just treat them as burp rags :) and Buffy will be in her finest, showing off her fluffy butt :-P

Yeah, when we go OOT I have to make a trip to Whole Foods to get sposies because of course I can't just get any old disposable diaper, C's butt will freak out.

we're lucky in that--Buffy is in sposies 1 day a week (thursdays) when she's at MIL's and at night because she's a heavy wetter (we're working on that once we're back--the night time solution).

We kinda go for whatever is cheapest.

I DID throw swimmie diapers (aka, pocket w/o stuffing) in the swimsuit bag though :)

  • We have to use sposies for OOT, too. No access to washer/dryer. Boo for that. But, gotta do whatcha' gotta do'.
