Can't Believe This Just Happened

I have to preface this story by saying I've only told 1 person at work I am pregnant. We're very close.

So I was talking to her and another coworker when my former boss walks up, rubs my belly, and says "are you?!". I stared at her like a deer in the headlights stammering for a while until I finally said "SHHHHH. I'm only 6 weeks, so please don't tell anyone."

WHAT? Apparently the same woman did this to my coworker friend when she was about 13 weeks. She'd just come out that day but the woman didn't know it. So now I'm absolutely mortified. I don't think I look any different! I'm only 6 weeks! My coworker says my shirt doesn't make me look pregnant.

I really can't believe I just got my first belly rub at 6 weeks and I had to share.

    I can only pray that no one ever rubs my belly, except for DH. I'm not a good luck troll for pete's sake, so don't touch my belly!!! I'm pretty sure with pregnancy hormones raging, that I might actually tell them to get their effin' hands off of me. Angry

    Wow, that is crazy!  I can't believe people who do that at any time, let alone at 6w?!  I hope whoever saw/heard is able to keep it to themselves until you decide to come out.

    I haven't even had anyone ask me (my coworkers must be smart, lol!) but one oddball receptionist kept staring at my stomach every time I saw her.  I was having fun with it and never said anything to her.  Finally I came out to her last week and she said "thank you for telling me!  I've been wondering if you were pregnant or just put on some weight, but I'd never say that to a person."  lol  Well, you kind of just did, but thankfully I am pregnant.  Stick out tongue

    There were a few people in my life that just *knew* before I started showing or told anyone.  It's so strange!  It's like they have this instinct.  Thankfully they did not touch my belly or ask me in public.  What a crazy lady!!

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266

    Me: 33, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, DOR (AMH .35), DH: 38, Borderline low morph
    5/09- Off BCP, 5/09-9/09- No period, 9/09-9/10- Lots of Tests & accupuncture
    10/10 and 11/10- 2 rounds of Menopur + TI= BFNS
    12/10-IUI #1 Menopur = BFN
    1/11- IUI #2 Menopur = BFP, 2/11 missed mc at 9 weeks, D&C
    5/11- Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum
    6/11- IUI #3 Menopur = BFP, 8/11 missed mc at 11 weeks, D&C
    1/12- Lap and Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum (again) & scar tissue
    2/12- Stint Removal, 3/12 repeat SHG and HSG- showed scar tissue blocking right tube
    4/12- Operative hysteroscopy (again), RE said he can now see right tube (yay!)
    5/12- Stint removal, 6/12 repeat SHG and HSG-both tubes are open!
    8/12- IUI #4 Bravelle = BFN
    9/12-IUI #5 Bravelle = BFN
    1/13- IVF #1, micro-flare protocol, 7R, 6F, 5dt of 2 AA embryos, 1 to freeze = BFP
    Beta #1: 176, Beta #2: 422, EDD 10/8/13- it's TWINS!

    just yesterday a women that I have worked with for over 10 years who I havn't seen in mths texted me, "are you pregnant?" I didn't know what to say she said she just had a feeling. Kinda crazy since we have told no one. Some people just know
