I lost my husband yesterday.
I just feel like I have been with you ladies the longest on The Bump and you deserve to know so I am choosing to post on this board.
My DH is gone. I will never get to feel him again, kiss him again, hold him again... and our kids are going to grow up without their daddy. This is the blackest time in my whole life and it's only the kind and caring wishes from others that keep me going. Each warm thought helps me get through another five minutes.
I told my friend that our kids are all I have left of him and I am thankful for that much... but this just isn't fair.

My life was turned upside down at about 4:00pm yesterday when two police officers showed up at my office. I just wish I had had a chance to say goodbye to my Matthew. Or just that this didn't have to happen at all. He did not deserve this.

I am so utterly devastated for you. You and your family are in my thoughts.
I am at a loss for words.
I cannot even fathom what you are enduring.
Please know that there are angels around you and your children and prayers are being sent to you to comfort you during this time.

Oh my gosh, this is horrible. I can't even imagine what you're going through, but my thoughts are with you and your children. I hope you have a strong support system of family and friends to help you through this unfathomable time.
