Since I will be exclusively breastfeeding my newborn for at least the first 3 weeks (hopefully I can introduce the bottle after that), when do I actually sleep (more than 3 hours)??
Until I introduce the bottle so that I dh can help with the feedings, am I only sleeping for 2-3 hours at a time for at least 3 weeks?
Re: newborn question
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
You'll be fine. It works out because it has to work out
And seriously, when they say sleep when the baby sleeps, do it as much as you can. This phase also lasted for longer than three weeks for us (it was probably closer to six weeks that she was up every two - three hours). She didn't really sleep for more than four or five hours at a stretch until after eight weeks.
