Hello, I've been told by my CNM that I probably have under developed breast tissue and it's effecting my milk supply. I've heard about cookies to help produce milk and was wondering if anyone might have the recipe. Or if you have any other suggestion to help increase milk production. I am going to try the fenugreek tea (the store is out of the capsules). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Re: Lactation cookies??
I've made the cookies on this website a couple of times. https://www.yummymummycookies.com/Lactation_Cookies.html
They come out pretty good. But, you get a lot of cookies with each batch. I'm going to try cutting it in half next time. I think the important ingredients for them to be lactation cookies are the flaxseed meal and the brewer's yeast. I found both at Whole Foods.
I found flaxseed meal at the supermarket, but I couldn't find the brewer's yeast anywhere but an organic type store. But... I read this other post from yesterday where the lady said milled flaxseed meal with oatmeal worked just as well.
