Stinky baby breath?

Is the common in formula fed babies? We just picked up a finger brush to see if it helps, but has anyone had anything else work to fight against bad breath?

    DD is on formula and right after a bottle, her breath may smell like formula otherwise her breath has no smell to it.

    I normally think DD's breath is pretty sweet, but she has bad acid reflux where she doesn't spit up, but the formula comes up and goes back down again. After this happens her breath is pretty acidic and smells bad.
