still having that dream that baby is in the bed with you when it's really only a pillow? We still have never bed shared, so I don't know why I keep having this dream!

This just happened this week to me. It happened all the time when L was newborn, but now that I am up 5 times a night, I think it is from lack of sleep. I woke up and thought I was cradling him in my arms. It is such a bad feeling. DH woke up the other night and thought Liam was between us in the bed and couldn't find him, he was so panicked.
ETA: We've never bedshared either, so it makes it even stranger that we have these dreams.
It probably happens to me at least once a week, though it is the dog instead of a pillow. He sleeps right between us. We've also never bedshared so H thinks I'm a nut when I have these dreams.
Ive done this too! Its crazy bc like you i have never bedshared. But there are times i will wake up frantic in the middle of the night searching our bed and yelling at my Hubby to get off the baby. Ha yeah he thinks Im freak. Its really scary at times bc it seems so real!
Sorry for the crappy layout. I bump from my phone.
That finally stopped for me about a month ago, and we never bedshared either. I would wake up ina panic, throwing the covers everywhere. drove me insane. I hope it goes away soon for you.
Yes. I've had this dream off and on since Gideon was born and we've never co-slept. Freaks my hubby out when I wake him up to, "you're crushing the baby!"
