F/U on my dad's cancer

It is Stage One (thank God). They had to push back his surgery because of cardiac issues. But they are reasonably certain they will be able to take all the cancer in surgery without the need for chemo or radiation after. This is the best possible news under the circumstances.

Thank you to everyone for their kind words, thoughts and prayers. Your support is very comforting.

That's definitely the best possible news, under the circumstances. I'm so happy to hear that he has a positive prognosis. Yay for Moesten's dad, and for a full recovery : )

Thank God! I will keep your dad in my thoughts. My father had cancer when I was a senior in high school -- it is so hard. (My dad recovered!)
