F/U on my dad's cancer

It is Stage One (thank God). They had to push back his surgery because of cardiac issues. But they are reasonably certain they will be able to take all the cancer in surgery without the need for chemo or radiation after. This is the best possible news under the circumstances.

Thank you to everyone for their kind words, thoughts and prayers. Your support is very comforting.

  • That's definitely the best possible news, under the circumstances. I'm so happy to hear that he has a positive prognosis. Yay for Moesten's dad, and for a full recovery : )

  • What a relief! It's still scary, but that is great news to receive. I will continue to send good thoughts and prayers to your family until they get the cancer out of him. So happy to hear that it's treatable!
    6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM 7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle! 9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.   • Thank God! I will keep your dad in my thoughts. My father had cancer when I was a senior in high school -- it is so hard. (My dad recovered!)
