snug-a-bunny swing belt too tight?

We cannot figure out how to make the belt looser on our swing.  It is snug on Gabe and he is only 6lbs!  I am worried about the longevity it.  It cannot be loosened at all.  Thoughts?  Should I call FP? 
Born at 31w3d due to severe IUGR & Placental Insufficiency--2lbs 3ounces

    we are having the same issue!  the part where the straps click in doesn't seem to fit right!  We have no clue what is wrong with it.  We were thinking we can use it when we need to take the infant part out...but not sure...

    Are you sure you put it together correctly? My baby was born at 8 pounds and has been rapidly gaining ... but she still fits. The top (vertical straps) can be adjusted (loosened/tightened), and make sure that it's coming out of the correct notch (there's two notches ... one for small babies, one for bigger babies). The horizontal belt also has an adjustment piece on it. The only thing I can thing of is that your baby isn't positioned correctly in the swing ... make sure that his butt is seated all the way back, and not shifted forward (and that his back is flush on the back of the seat) ... otherwise the belt is going to seem too short.

    Our little guy is 12 pounds and we don't have a problem with the belt size.  You might want to double check the way that it's attached to make sure it's correct.

    Avery is just shy of 11 pounds and 23 inches and fits without a problem. Im guess it is not set up right.

    Proof again that I shouldn't trust my husband to "double check" things.  LOL!  I had him double check to make sure he put it together right, and he said he did.  WRONG!  He had the waist strap set into the first chest strap slot and the chest strap set into the 2nd chest strap spot.  There is PLENTY of room to grow now.  Yay!
