Poor DH. He's working like a dog to try to get everything done that I "need" done RIGHT NOW.
Today, he steam cleaned all the carpets, washed the curtains, helped me wipe down all the baseboards, cleaned the vents, moved furniture in our room & set up the PNP, and then made an awesome dinner for my family. With produce from his garden.
Did I mention he's awesome? (And that I'm neurotic?)
Re: The need to "nest" has set in
I went through a spurt of this a couple of weeks ago. I think my body must have known that by now I was going to be too hot to give a crap anymore. We still need to put Gavin's new dresser together so I can move his current one into the baby's room - it's driving me nuts that it's still in the box.
That's not DH's fault though, it's a huge box and there's no way I will be able to help him get everything upstairs or move it once it's built so he's trying to line someone else up to help him.
I also have 80 million things I need to do to get ready for people who will be helping out/staying with Gavin - making sure we have clean guest towels/sheets, fixing the showerhead in the downstairs bathroom, etc. That's making me crazy right now.
