growth spurt or teething??

Heres whats going on,  DS started STTN @ 2 months old & has till a couple of days ago.  Now he wakes up 2 times a night but last night he was up every 3 hours.  OMG!!!!!!  I'm beat!!  I'm not used to this anymore.  He has been chewing on stuff like he is teething for awhile but I was wondering if this is a growth spurt since he acts like he is starving @ night & he has started eating more during the day (I EBF & I feel like he is nursing all the time & sometimes I give him a bottle so I can get him off my boobs). 

Has anyone else gone thru this @ his age?  He is alil over 6 months old.  Or any suggestions on handling this b/c I don't want this to become a habit of him getting up.  Just to get up but he does usually go right to bed after he nurses.

    When it was a growth spurt he woke up often to eat and when it was teething he woke up to scream.  lol.  Both past in a week or so.
