where did you get your nursery chair?

For those of you adding chairs to your nursery, where did you get yours? I had no idea rocking chairs and gliders could be so expensive and unfortunately, we don't have a family hand-me-down available.

Craigslist, it was $50. It was in great condition all I did was remove the padding and wash it.

I couldn't fathom spending that much money on a chair, so I stalked craigslist for weeks until I found a good deal. I ended up finding a chair and ottoman for $150 that was in really good condition. I didn't mind having to drive the hour to get it for that price!

I was given the Storkcraft glider/ottoman set from Walmart. I think it was only about $139 for the set, so that's a pretty good deal (considering the ones I liked at BRU were $700+). It was super easy to put together, looks really nice, fits my (I think) wide hips, and is comfy (although I can picture myself replacing the seat cushion foam in the future). Not bad for the price! They also come in many wood and cushion colors (when ordered online).

we got a traditional wooden rocker from amazon for $60-70. To spice it up a bit, I ordered custom cushions from Etsy.

I found mine on Craigslist. Depending on what you want, it might take some patience (and obsessive checking for updated listings) but there's a lot out there for really reasonable prices.

We ordered ours from walmart.com...we got the chair, ottoman and slipcovers for both for just under $300. We've had it a couple of weeks now and I like it...not the most comfortable thing ever, but very cute and comfy enough for the price! If you're interested, you can search dorel rocker at walmart.com. We have the same rocker!! I love it and it was easy to put together. Definitely a good price to me.

We wanted a black rocker/recliner for the nursery and we found a very comfy one at Weekends Only. It was about $240 ish and the 5 year warranty was only like $40 more. It's something we can move out into the living room or basement once it is no longer needed in the nursery. Great for sleeping in while preggo too!

craigslist for $100. i didnt even try that hard either, i searched for a few days and then found the listing. it rocks a little sideways but i can deal with that.
