Maxi Cosi - Foray stroller & Mico car seat

does anyone have the maxi cosi foray stroller & mico car seat? we just received a used stroller, it's in great condition but i'm wondering if we need a car seat adapter.

we're looking to get the maxi cosi mico car seat and i looked at the manual online and it looks like it just snaps in place w/out the use of a car seat adapter.

but when looking at brand new foray strollers, it says that it includes a car seat adapter so i'm confused. are the included adapters for other car seats?
