Anyone else worn out?

Maybe it's the heat of the summer, but I am worn out! I feel comparable to when we first came home and were adjusting to life with 2 kids. It feels like we got into a good rhythm for a while, but now it's slipping away. What's worse is I don't even go to work anymore!!! But between the kids, the house, working from home, trying to make these diapers sometime this century for the ladies who were interested, and having a little "me time", I exhausted by the end of the day! Sheesh!

  • Me too! I feel worn out by about 4 o'clock everyday. I feel bad handing the baby off when H gets home so I don't. Sometimes I just want a little break. I think I need a sitter for a day. Expecially right now well Jay is teething...
  • Meeeee!  DH is working between 80-90 hours a week with a lot of overnights, so I'm by myself most of the time.  I'm used to it but I'm so worn out because of it.  He tries to help out with bed time when he is home (bed time has been horrible lately!) but by that point E only wants Mommy.  I'm going to a friends house on Monday to get some adult time.  Even though E will be with me, my friend and her daughter will pretty much be entertaining E the entire time so it's a small break.

I am right there with you ladies.  I have a toddler as well (she'll be 3 on Sunday), and the two of them are kicking my butt!

  • Yep.  Really worn out.  I'm working full time and taking care of everything at home while DH frantically tries to finish his PhD.  At the same time I'm also trying to take my blog to the next level in hopes that I can bring in some $ through it once I become a SAHM when we move.  I feel like I have 3 jobs haha :)

  • I don't know how you do it with an additional kid. I'm exhausted with just this one. Right now I'm not working (I'm a teacher, it's summer.) and I feel just as exhausted as I did when I was working..maybe even a little bit more. Whenever we get into a groove he has a "growth spurt" or something and we have to start all over again...

I'd love some wine and it is only 11:40. lol. Coffee will have to do for now!

    Yes

Having a newborn AND a big kid was so much harder than I had imagined it would be. But thankfully Joshua is a really good kid and loves to help out.

  • I know I'm days late to this post but I am worn out - I am SAHM and I really have no excuse but I find entertaining a LO all day and trying to get him to go to sleep all day (terrible napper) is exhausting! Thank goodness I had a vacay with my family this past week because they helped a ton!

Being a SAHM is the perfect excuse! I am much more tired now that I was when I worked, hands down.
