At my appt today I was measuring between 35 and 36 weeks, when I am only 34 weeks. Does anyone know if this is an indicator that labour could happen early? I didn't think to ask at my appt!
I think it just means you or your baby are bigger than "average" at that point.
I measured 2 weeks ahead this whole time and then 1 week and now back down to "on track", but I have only gained 1 lb in the last month so I am thinking that may have to do with it. lol
I have consistently measured 2-3 weeks ahead since they started measuring but they haven't changed my EDD. The dr's said it's normal. At my last appt the doc made it seem like a little bit more of a big deal and said that she might be a big baby. The nurse said I might just have a lot of fluid. Who knows!
It is possible, but its possible for anyone to go early measuring ahead or not... Either your baby is Just larger, maybe you have more fluid, or maybe your baby had an early growth spurt... Next apt you could measure right on schedule... It just depends:)
My doctor told me I was measuring big and when they did a sono they said he was measuring 6lbs 13oz and if I keep measuring big then I would more likely to have a csec. I just hope all is fine.
