For the Sonoline B? Mine arrived today and it picks up my heartbeat but I don't hear anything and haven't yet been able to find baby's. I watched a couple videos on YouTube but I was only able to find ones that showed video of the unit itself, not where it was on the body. Help!
Re: What's the learning curve
It took me about 10 minutes to find it the first time, the 2nd time I couldn't find it and 5 minutes the 3rd time. If you aren't having success, put it down and come back later. It could be that your uterus is tilted (then you won't hear it for a few more weeks) or that the baby's in a bad position.
If it helps, both times I found it, it was with the doppler flat against my skin with some pressure. It was on the light crease you get from sitting (about 1-1.5 inches about my hair line) and it was either to the left of my center line or right of my centerline by about 1/2 inch. Just start just above the hairline and slowly move from left to right. If you go for a few inches and get nothing, you might need to reapply some gel.
