Thankful DS doesn't STTN

All this talk about the 4 month wakeful period makes me super thankful DS has never slept through the night. It should be a breeze. I generally get 4 hours so it shouldn't be an issue. I just hope that come 5 months he's sleeping more than 4 hour stretches ...

DS doesnt STTN and it was still horrible because I would get 3 hours of sleep then he would be up for 2 hours then down for 3 then up for 2 and so on....I was a mess...I think it has ended the last night or two ago...

Best is to hope for no 4 month wakeful...lol

My DS was sleeping 4 hour stretches until the 4 month wakeful. He still hasn't returned to sleeping more than 2.5 hours at a time.

Sorry but it will still suck. It will be a little easier since you don't know the joys of STTN, but even during the day DS was a crabby pants. If he didn't want you doing something (like putting cream on his neck) he would start shaking his head, pushing me away etc. He also came up with a shreaking yell when he was mad. Not fun.

At 3 months DD finally started STTN- about 8-9 hour stretches. Since she hit the 4 month mark, she now wakes up once. (Not that I'm complaining, but it was nice being able to sleep for awhile and not get up) I hope this passes soon!

DD went through the 4 month wakeful and it was a nightmare! Even though I was getting 4 hour stretches before that. Now we're lucky if she's only up every 2 hours. I don't see any hope of improvement either...and she's 4.5 months.

Just about when ds turned 3 months his sleep got horrible. I was getting about 1 4th stretch now hes up every 2-3 hrs crying for food. I this his growth spurt and the 4 month wakeful are happening at the same time and I'm exhausted.
