Fever during growth spurt?

My DS is 15 mths and has been eating like crazy for a week, making me think he's going through a growth spurt. The last 3 days he has been miserable and today just wants to sleep, cuddle and eat. He's running a low-grade fever but otherwise doesn't appear sick. Has anyone else's LOs experienced a fever while going through a growth spurt or do you think it could be teething or something else? TIA!

    I would love what other people have to say because my LO has been the way the last 4 days.  Low grade fevers on and off, cranky and clingy as can be.

    Could it be molars coming in?  DD is getting hers and has been running a low grade fever off and on, sweating and generally really clingy and grumpy.  So that would be my guess.

    This is my guess too. And FWIW, I think molars take entirely too long to come in. I've been looking at the same pointy corner of one tooth for two weeks now.

    It definitely could be, or the two coinciding. Either way I feel terrible for both the babies and us for having to go through this!!
