Need ideas for wrapping a boppy and a bumbo...

So I know that most people can find a huge gift bag for each gift but I have looked EVERYWHERE and cannot find bags big enough. Need creative ideas for wrapping (separately) a boppy pillow and a bumbo seat that is still in that awkward box... any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Need ideas for wrapping a boppy and a bumbo...

  • I recenly bought a boppy lounger and just got a really big, cute bow that had a balloon in the middle of it that said "it's a boy!"  Looked good to me.

  • Maybe a gift basket with the clear/colored wrap around with a big bow at the top? Sure, it doesn't hide what the gift is, but its a cute way to present a gift. :)

  • go to the craft store and get cute fabric to wrap around it. or, similarly, get a baby blanket and use it as the wrapping with a pretty ribbon to tie it up at the top.

  • I do this for all the baby showers I go to.

Use a baby blanket or receiving blanket as wrapping paper, cute baby safety pins to keep it closed (if needed), and teethers/misc items as bows.

It usually costs about the same as a gift bag and bow, AND (It gives me a chance to go off Registry and buy the stuff I find cute w/o really ignoring their registry; I've still bought the gifts they wanted, but wrapped it in something I love!)

Also--I know this is cheap and sneaky but the little blankets I buy to wrap the gift in, I usually buy a multi pack and keep the extras (my own little way of hoarding baby stuff before LO arrives)

    Hope that helps :)

  • I LOVE the baby blanket idea! You can also get some shrink wrap at Michaels or JoAnns and use your hair dryer to heat it all together. They sell it in large rolls so you could get it all covered, however, it is clear so no hiding what's inside!

  • The baby blanket idea is a GREAT idea.  I have never thought of that.  I love it and will be stealing the idea in the future!  Haha.

  • The last Bumbo I wrapped I got a tablecloth (one of the plastic-ish)  and wrapped it around.  You can actually get it into a really pretty bow, but I also put a fabric bow on it also.  Everybody loved the wrapping and it turned out a lot cuter than I anticipated when I made the purchase.
