Okay ladies. This post is going to get braggy so please don't take anything to heart. I just hate the conversations where people brag about a milestone reached and other mommies feel like they are being compared. So this post is for everyone to brag about the different milestones their LO has reached.
We are talking about rolling, sitting assisted, sitting unassisted, sitting up on their own, and all that jazz
So tell us how old LO is and his/her accomplishments
Re: A Milestone Check in
E can crawl backward and scoot in every direction, still won't eat solids which is getting on my nerves, but he totally has said his first word: Mama
He's been saying it consistently for about a week but I didn't believe he knew what it meant and my H kept saying "he's saying it he's saying it!" but I didn't believe it counted but yesterday he said it perfectly (not mamamamama, just mama) several times when looking and reaching for me and then he was downstairs with H and I was upstairs and he started fussing just a little bit so I walked downstairs and as soon as he saw me he reached out and said "MAMA" so yeah, it totally counts. We're gonna record it tonight
Paige rolls both ways, sits up on her own, crawls, pulls up, walks assisted, and she says DADA.
She also knows how to work the surround sound and tv remote.

My lazy kid is almost sitting unassisted, but he would much rather lay back and lounge. When he does decide to sit, he can reach and return to sitting without falling over. He hasn't gotten the idea of scooting yet, but waves his arms and legs like crazy when he's on his belly. He's a champ at eating solids and has something like 25-30 foods in his repertoire. No words yet, but he's working on teeth 4 - 6, which makes him look like a little vampire.
His new thing is giving kisses back when you kiss him first. Uncoodinated, open mouth, wet kisses, but at least he goes for the cheek and not the lips.

hahaha but she looks might cute doing it!
man, paige is kicking *ss!
O will be 7 months in 4 days.
he scoots to get where he wants. he rocks back and forth on hands and knees. and just this morning crawled a few paces backwards then fell over. he is very angry that he cant forward yet.
tri-pod sits.
babbles: mamama, nanana
LOVES the lip pops (am i reaching here??).
no teeth yet!
Evie is 8 days shy of 7 months. She sits, crawls- just this week she decided that army crawling was to slow, so she's developed a crawling techinique using her feet, she lookes like a leaping frog, and as of July 1st she can pull herself up to standing. She's trying very hard to cruise, but the concept of walking is still a little much. She loves to stomp her feet. Pretty much she can get to anywhere in the house and grab whatever she pleases. Its a bit of a nightmare.
She also has 2 teeth, hates veggies but loves fruits, squash, and sweet potatoes. She blabbers constantly. Her favorite phrase is "dadadadadadada blah!" andn she only seems to say Mamamama when she's crying. I keep trying to convince DH that her first word is "yeah!" because she has managed to say it in context several timesm he's not buying it.
Oh, and last night I got her to giggle soley because I was. It's like pulling teeth to get this girl to laugh, so when I was able to get her to keep it up for 3 minutes it was a record! Alas, she has throaty creepy kind of giggle.

fun!
Anthony can roll both ways.
He has been sitting unassisted for well over a month.
He loves to walk assisted.
He can stand holding onto something & can pull himself up from sitting to standing by holding onto my arms.
And he just crawled for the first time the other day! He'd much rather walk around than crawl, though.
He has a good pincher grasp & is working on his hand to mouth coordination.
eta- oh yeah & he loves giving kisses, too! and reaches for MH & me.
Courtney will be 7 months on Sunday. She is rolling all over and has begun to army crawl. Everyday she is getting up on all fours and rocking more and more.It amazes me how much better she is doing with this each day.
She is sitting up with assistance, but probably not even close to sitting unassisted.
She is sleep completely through night 10-12 hours, she is eating well, although not taking to the solids as well as I had thought. She seems to enjoy oatmeal better then rice cereal, and hasn't completely rejected any fruits or veggies yet, but loses interest in eating. She also really enjoys baby MumMum crackers.
Court, also has her two bottom middle teeth, which came at 5 and half months and it is now looking like the top 2 middle are working their way down too.
I was getting a little nervous this past week, because she wasn't eating as well as she normally does, she was not cranky nor did she have a temperature, but I think it comes down to her new found interest in being on the floor playing and not in our arms
the reality she is growing up!
We've got the rolling both ways, and sitting unassisted (if we sit him up), but no scooting or sitting on his own yet. He does solids pretty well, but seems mostly uninterested. He's getting his FIRST tooth, though, and I think that makes him off kilter...
Annabelle will be 7 months next week. She is currently working on crawling - the early stages, that is. We went to Gymboree yesterday and she immediately popped up onto her knees for the first time after seeing other babies crawl. It was so cool! Since then, she has been getting up and rocking for a few seconds, then she falls back to her belly.
She has been sitting unassisted for about a month and a half now? Something like that. She has gotten really good in the last couple weeks at playing with toys with both hands while sitting (without falling over, like really keeping her balance).
And rolling and scooting all over the place. I call her the most mobile non-crawling baby I've ever seen, lol.
She wants to pull up onto furniture, but isn't strong enough yet. She's definitely interested though.
She feeds herself puffs a little better now - she still gets more on her lap than in her mouth though, lol.
Ava is the same way. Love her, but it drives me crazy I can't get her to eat solids. She was doing good with apples but the last couple days when I try to feed her she keeps sticking her tounge out and blowing raspberries.
For milestones, she sat up for the first time on her own last night. I had her in her crib, she was taking a little rest. I heard her wake up and went in to check on her and she was sitting up. She is just about ready to start crawling too. She has been practicing the last couple months and I can tell she is just about there.
He rolls from belly to back on occasion and has rolled back to belly a few times. I really think the kid just couldn't care less about rolling.
He sits pretty well unassisted if we place him in a sitting position and can reach without toppling most of the time.
He scoots around a ton on his belly and seems to want to push himself up on his arms and knees, but hasn't really grasped it yet.
He's doing great with grabbing and hand/mouth coordination.
He's on a solid strike right now because the poor baby has been sick with a throat infection (possible strep) so we assume his throat hurts to much to want the food. But when he was eating solids, he was loving them. Only a few foods right now, his sickiness threw us off.
No teeth, no words, but my favorite milestone (which isn't really a real milestone, but I love it) is that he has started to hug!!
griffins 7 months on monday.
he can roll both ways and sits well on his own (rarely topples over). the way he flails his legs and does baby push ups makes me think hes trying to crawl. he can stand up when i hold onto his hips but i think hes too heavy to stand/take steps assisted. from a lying (on his back) position, he can pull himself up if he holds my fingers.
Penelope will be 7 months tomorrow. (ack!)
She rolls over both ways, can do that break-dancing style thing where she pivots all around on her belly which has resulted in my mom losing her once (she was just under the coffee table haha), she can sit on her own but only if we put her there, she can bend over to grab things and go back to sitting no problem, she's starting to rock forward on her knees from leaning forward too so probably crawling soon, she eats like a champ, she can pull herself up on things if they are sturdy, and she can hold and eat an otter pop with 2 hands.
Yay for our December babies! They are all doing so great!!
2 mo -- rolled front to back. 4 mo -- rolled back to front. Now he always rolls back to front...doesn't really like hanging out on his back.
5 mo -- sitting unassisted, but really unreliably. Still sits unassisted but usually wants to try to move so he'll topple in order to get to his belly/all fours most of the time. Needs to have his attention focused on something to stay sitting, and when he does he can do it for minutes.
6 mo -- sort of crawling. He's in perfect position and even raises the limbs in opposition, but after a "step" or two he likes to just flop on his belly and inch forward because it gets him to his goal a bit more efficiently.
can pick things up and pass them...might even be able to do some pincher grip stuff though I'm less certain of that. I don't know when his fine motor skills got good because I was so focused on watching his crawling progress...haha.
Does not recognize his name, and doesn't have much in terms of language sounds. Mostly vowels still. And the "raspberry" sound.
Lots of smiles and laughs.
B is a rolling fiend. I can't leave her anywhere anymore since she rolls across a room. She's started scootching too, though she effectively only moves backwards rather than forwards as she clearly intends.
We've been working on the sitting unassisted and she can sit for almost 5 minutes at a time now.

Jonny will be 8 months old in a week (ahh!!!)
He rolls like crazy. Gets up on all fours and rocks, takes about two "crawls" forward and then belly flops. He spins and scoots - so he gets where he wants to go. He sits like a champ. Goes from sitting to crawling position.
He eats like crazy and will eat anything you give him. We can no longer eat in front of him or he'll get whiny and want food too. We give him finger foods to play/eat with while we eat our meals now.
Nora is 7 months old and is currently:
* Sitting unassisted
* Getting up on hands and knees, and pushing all the way up to straight legs, too!
* Going from hands and knees/belly to sitting up
* Rolling both ways
* Scooting, wiggling and army crawling like crazy (I keep thinking she'll be crawling for real any day now)
The sitting up from crawling thing is her newest milestone (last couple of days) and she is now working on pulling up to standing. Yikes!
We have some talented babies on here!
Isaac can roll over both ways and sits up unassisted really well. He puts everything in his mouth (what baby doesn't). He says dadadada all the time. He reaches for me if someone else is holding him, and he gives the BEST hugs ever!
Wow I feel like B is behind!
He just started rolling consistently about 3 weeks ago from back to belly. He rolled belly to back around 3 months like 2 times and then couldn't be bothered with it anymore. He actually tolerates tummy time now, but isn't anywhere close to crawling (I don't think)...he doesn't scoot either way yet or sit up by himself, but he can assisted.
He does STTN though and has since 1 week old ...that's right, I know you hate me!
My little man at 0-1-2
Yay for hair. I love bald babies (all my kids were rather bald for quite a while). Isaac is starting to get some hair too.
I love it! I think we have the world's least cuddly baby -- hates to snuggle, wants to always be held facing outward, etc. -- so I'm jealous.
I would definitely trade some of E's skills for this!! It wouldn't even have to be retro-active...she could just start now!
He likes to knock things over as well. (He'll crawl to the tall laundry basket that's in our kitchen and push it until it falls and freaks out if it is too heavy to push over)
He goes from crawling to sitting back to crawling
and now he HATES being strapped down. It's a fight to get him into the highchair/booster/carseat/swing and tries to climb out or arch so that he can't be tied down. I put away the bouncer because I was afraid that he would tip it over and he climbed out of the bumbo on our trip.
