Peeing at night?

When I roll out of bed at night to pee I feel like my stomach is so hard and heavy. Almost like I have to hold my belly while I walk to the bathroom. Does anyone else experience this, lol?

Re: Peeing at night?

  • Yes, it normally eases once I finally pee though.

  • yes. My balance is also hella off while I try to get to the bathroom so i use my one hand to support my tummy and the other to lean against the wall. Probably look like a crazy drunk. :)

  • I have the same thing.  It's almost painful to get up because it feels like there is so much pressure and at the same time like everything is sloshing around.

  • Well, I am glad I am not alone. I don't really remember it happening with ds.

  • yeah, sounds familiar...3 or 4 times a night!!
I'm so ready to have this baby!! At least once it's out, I can have my regular bladder function back and not be makinga beeline for the can every hour!!

  • yes, i feel like this every morning.  fortunately i am not up in the night to pee - wasn't with DS either until 36+ weeks, and even then it was only a few times a week in the night. but in the mornings i am definitely ready to go!

  • O absolutely!!!  It sucks, but as soon as I pee it's instant relief!
bumping from my phone. please pardon any typos and missing punctuation
  • Absolutely, this happens to me too.  I get up about 2-3 times per night to pee.  There is all this pressure and then, bc I sleep on my side, the little guy is all balled up on one side.  You can hardcore feel him.  Its so crazy.  I sometimes have to hold my belly on the short trek to the bathroom.

I hate you a little bit  Stick out tongue

Yes, I also need to support the ginormous belly while I walk. I walked into some boxes a few nights ago...that sucked(still unpacking). At least I didn't fall!

  • YES! And I usually have to wrestle with my body pillow first to get out of bed. From there I run into walls and corners until I find the bathroom. How often is everyone going these days? I'm up 3 times a night and the lil guy is always awake! Eeeeek!

  • ugg yes! and I hate when I jump(if that is what you want to call it) out of bed and forget about the belly-I feel like it is going to hit the floor! I am up at least 3, 4 sometimes 5 times a night. The new cool thing is after my 3 am pee I can't go back to sleep:) I guess I should get use to seeing 3am...:)

  • Yep I go through this every night. I also have found if I rub my belly as I walk to and from the bathroom, LO settles down quicker and doesn't kick me for as long once I get back in bed.
