Nausea/flu-like symptoms before labor?

I've had a lot of nausea tonight, have had trouble keeping cool - even in a/c, and basically just feel like I need to throw up (though so far I haven't). I don't have diarrhea or a fever. My husband read online that flu-like symptoms without a fever can indicate that labor is coming in the next couple of days. I was just wondering if anyone else has felt similar and what the results were. Thanks! =]

I too hope its connected! I have been having tons of BHs for weeks but last night was the first time I had painful contractions for almost 2 hours. While I was having these contractions I got I told my husband I felt like I had to throw up. He walked over to the bathroom with me and told me I was really red- probably because I was extremely hot!
Sounds like we all had the same symptoms! Lets hope it happens soon for all of us!
my birthing class taught us that if you feel flu-like symptoms its best to stay home and close to the hospital. Typically its a sign of labor coming soon.
I was nauseous last night and did throw up. I'm hoping it was just something I ate, as much as I would love to meet my little man I'd prefer he stay in there a few more weeks.
